Just thought some good news on the fuel price as been going up of late.
That will help, Morrison seems to lead these price cuts while others follow.
Any further increases... and this country stops

Just heard on news and said 2p reduction and it mentioned another supermarket think Sainsburys and said others to follow.
About time too, fuels been going up in price for a good few weeks now. In Morrisons Cwmbran (119.9 ppl Diesel ) they have even become more expensive than Sainsbury's ( £118.9ppl Diesel).

Just goes to show how these big companies are ripping us off and charging what they can get away with rather than a fair price everywhere . My local Sainsbury's have always followed Morrisons on price and until the past few weeks have always been 1p above Morrisons . Our local Asda store hasn't got a petrol station and no Tesco in Cwmbran so just the two large stores offering fuel so we never really get the cheapest of fuel.
Went to Saudi Arabia last month, 0.9 saudi riyals for 1L premium petrol. And its approx £1=5 saudi riyals.

We're getting robbed.

Erm the wall you plug it into has to be "fueled" and you will be paying for that......

Only in the winter, in summer the solar panels on the roof provide quite enough leccy to charge it
Yet a month ago it was like £1.14 so the decrease to increase ratio is poor.

How much does it cost per charge up. No such thing as free always has to be paid for somewhere along the line.

It costs me nothing to charge up, I got free solar panels a few years back that cover 12,000miles a year motoring. I even got the charger installed in my drive for free.

You are correct that someone paid for the panels which wasn't me so that to me is free!.

Wrong, I got free solar panels from a previous scheme which pay me around £500 a year which covers over £12k a year in the car.
WOW 2p?! Jesus.
I'm in utter disbelief and shock

This has to make the front page of all the national paper tomorrow "Morrisons reduces fuel price ahead of anyone else for the first time in History"

Asda always tend to lead the way, then Morrisons follow behind reluctantly like an iSheep
A couple of weeks ago our local BP garage went from £1.22 per litre for "Ultimate" (how they can call it "Ultimate" when its only 97 RON I don't know) to £1.32. Cheeky gits.
I’m grateful Morrison’s trigger the price cuts and they get my dry cleaning in exchange.

But the grumpy basket in me says their fuel mpg is not as great as others and leads to sluggish power but only if you can feel what your car is doing like Lewis Hamilton lol.
My local ASDA has been around 114 / 115 for a few weeks, with Sainsbury following suit. However they used to be 112 before the so it has crept up, hopefully now to go back down again. As we all know though, most of it goes to those other robbing so and so s - the Government - who rarely, if ever, reduce anything except services.

Actually you'll probably find because you're more rural and your location in relation to a depot will actually reflect your costings. Personally I'm all for it when my local Asda is 112.9p p/l of diesel

I appreciate what you are saying , but Cwmbran is not rural and we are about 20 miles from the main Avonmouth Depot and 15 miles from the main Cardiff docks depot ., so relatively close to depots with easy motorway and dual carriage way access right through . By contrast Morrisons in Ebbw Vale which about 16 miles up valley and a bit more isolated and further from the depots is 2ppl cheaper than the Cwmbran store .
Going down 2p. Pity it's gone up 10p a litre in the last 3 months. Joke
Our local Morrisons put their prices up 5p a couple of weeks ago - will still be 3p more expensive. (or 5p if others follow)

Has Tesco dropped their Petrol prices yet?
They look for any excuse to put the price up.in reality the oil price only went up by a few dollars. This should have been offset by the rising pound to dollar rate.
hope we get another cut soon to bring it down to a more sensible price
Just got back from a week in Cornwall. Surprised to find that last week Tesco in Newlyn were only £1.129 per litre for petrol. Filled up my tank to find out the drive to Cornwall had cost circa £42.

When I filled up to come home today it had risen by 1p per litre.

Yes, by the British Tax man.
My local Morrisons (Berwick Hills) has been raising the price of diesel over the past few weeks, on Tuesday it was 119.07 a litre, they announced this on the radio today saying prices have risen lately because of Hurricane Harvey over Texas, I wonder if the pray for these Hurricanes so they can up the price's.
A whole penny taken off at Cardiff Newport road! Wow

Crikey, anyone would think that it was a country that could just drill for oil out of the ground

Absolute rip off ,its only $0.015 US a litre in Venezuela
isn't supermarket oil quality poor and bad for your car?
Morrisons are a rip-off for fuel, we have two stores 10 miles apart, one has plenty of competition (Asda Sainsbury's etc) the other has next to no competion and is always 4p a litre more.

Yes. It's fuel with less additives than regular petrol stations. Short term no problems. Over tens of thousands of miles the damage adds up.
Got to be good as the price of a barrel has not gone down significantly in the past few weeks, more up than down.
I run my car on none manned cheap diesel and if the damage adds up it will be a long time before I see it and my brim to brim fill ups show no decrease in MPG and in fact over my holiday motoring went up to 70 MPG from a norm of 58 MPG but did include a lot of motorway at no more than 62 miles per hour set by my maximum speed button.
if you choose to take cheap fuel, your engine will pay eventually, supermarket fuel us a no ni
