but did a little bit later, with avengence!!

i find chickens tend to say bwak rather than bok personally.
tbh the photo does look a bit crappy - id have to perform surgery on many of those pieces before use.
that said its a bit of a bargain even so.

To be fair it's not the best quality but at the price can't grumble much

Enough said... thread spoling not allowed. All irrelevant comments deleted & infraction issued.

Bargain! H&R

thegroutch;6105238

is this 100% chicken, or 85% chicken with added water and animal proteins?

Yes 100% grade a chicken. The other week was priced at £1 but on offer BOGOF, so made it 50P each,

Part of the bank holiday barbecue range, as advertised on TV last night. also in the range we:-
8 pork sausages 50p
6 bread rolls 50p
220g tomatoes 50p
4 100% beef burgers - not sure of price last time they were £1

They advert was for various items, giving you a mixture of barbecue items for £3, although you can buy them seperate.

Bargain from me, never had a problem with Morrisons Chicken... Voted hot...

Is there a maximum amount per customer might pop there tomorrow and buy 10. This is better than the Netto's £4.99 per Kilo which is usually the cheapest around.

But this is British chicken and Morrisons do have a somewhat better reputation than most supermarkets for decent meat. This thread is likely to come in for less grief than Vietnamese imported chicken pumped up with sugar and water.

I think the problem is quite a few people just see the word "chicken" but are not capable of telling the difference between good meat, bad meat and something in between. If you posted a deal for a PC they'd argue all day about every last specification, but when it comes to food some people are clueless.

Just got 20 packs (with abit of hassle)

Took them to the checkout and the woman said she will have to find out if this many is allowed. So she called over her manager who then walked off and phoned her manager who said i was only allowed 12. So i mentioned hukd and said other people around the country have been getting any amount they want, so she walked off again and said i'd have to put 8 through as a seperate transaction :?

Going to pop to the other Morrisons later and get another 10 with my £5 miles voucher :whistling:

By the way it looks really nice chicken, not mushy and full of water or goujons, its nice breast meat

bargain. bought 20 packs.

All meat is good meat. Unless it has in some way been contaminated by yucky vegetables.

But yeah, joking aside, they're not 'clueless', they just don't care. Just as most don't care about the minutiae of computer innards, they just care that it works, I don't care about food, I just care that it stops me looking like Victoria Beckham!

none left in Oswestry, although the burgers are 4 for 50p which is a bargain. Pringles ' Select' are half price too.
Plus Any 3 x 15 San Miguel(275ml) or Wifebeater(284ml) or Brahma(284ml) or Strongbow(?ml) for £18

alright, if you got up that early for 50p chicken then you deserve 20 packs!

went last night, loads left at mine, some on end of aisle too.
took 10 packs to till, she called manager to see if there was a limit on how many i could buy.

she said it should be 2 per customer, but as she had no signs she couldnt do anything about it.....so sounds like it might be limited soon...
