Morrisons Hotdogs - Buy 1 pack Get 2 packs free

I know its unusual to post food offers on here, but i just thought this was a very good deal.

Was shopping in Morrisons in Liverpool yesterday, and came across a deal for their own Frankfurters, £1.19 each for a pack of 10 i think it was. However they had a sale on, buy one pack, get two packs free.

Always great for a quick meal here or there, and they are in date for over a month. I double checked with a employee and then my bill, and the offer was correct. Buy 1, Get 2 free.

Hmmmmm. Pig snouts.

Wonder if its a local deal for local people?

i think you have the deal slightly wrong. im sure its even better its 3 for £1 so its cheaper to buy 3 than it is 1

I work at Morrisons and seem to remember them being £1.20, Buy 1 get 2 free as well, so I think the original post is correct.

It was definitely buy 1 get 2 free. Thats what it said on the sign, what the floor worker said and what the bill resulted in.

not really keen on Morrisons eveytime i see there hot chickens etc they are so dry its disgusting , looks like they have been sitting there all day long....obviously been then for more then 2 hours , even staff member made a joke about it , hardly a laughing matter when its peoples health at risk .....i am going to make a complaint to Environmental Health as ive seen it far to many times for me to ignore.

I find shop and staff attitudes much better in Sainsburys & M&S...just a shame they are not more local to me as i wouldnt ever shop in Morrisons

I can verify, saw this afternoon in the Portsmouth store.
Though we ended up walking out, as we went to get the turkey ham which is on buy 1 get 2 free (the cats love this stuff), however they only had 1 pack left and the store manager refused to reduce the 1 pack as he didn't have the facility or authorisation to do so!!!!
Apparantly it's subject to availablilty (although the sign doesn't say this), and the sign shouldn't have been up anyway as they didn't have stock to honor the deal - Not my problem, they were advertising it.

Anyhows, sent a nice little email to marc bolland (ceo) personal email address about it - false advertising, and store managers attitude.... doesn't have the authority... yeah right:giggle:
