Morrisons individual Mushroom Stroganoff pie - 28p instore

I popped into Morrisons on the way into work yesterday looking to pick something up for lunch and spotted these pies for 28p. As a committed carnivore this isn't a pie I'd normally go for but at a quarter of the price of the other varieties I figured it was worth a try.

This wasn't a short dated/reduced to clear item, the price was printed on the label and the pie was still warm out of the oven when I picked it up.

seems abit short dated unless they mean 2019
Look at the use by date, yesterday was the 10th, of course it's short date.
I can absolutely guarantee this will taste like crap.

In my local branch of Morrisons the pies and sausage rolls from the instore bakery always have a use by date that's the date they were produced. I assume it's because they aren't packed full of additives and preservatives so you're supposed to eat them while they're still fresh. Maybe it's different in other branches.
Probs a new flavour that’s why it’s cheap
2 for 50p .. Also chilli beef pies same price at the hot counter.
The stroganoff ones are creamy mushroomy and herby but sloppy .. Can't go wrong for 28p.

guaranteed heartburn.. Buy some indigestion stuff
More importantly, was it tasty?

Mmmm, nom nom!
I tried one before and it tasted awful. Inside it was mainly just sauce with two slices of mushroom.
Tried one yesterday , made the mistake of eating it cold . Not nice
I've tried one of these and I've got to say, who ever came up with this pie has clearly never tasted a Stroganoff.
We accidentally had one of these in a twin pack of chicken pies. It was disgusting brown sludge with a few small slices of black mushroom. Needless to say, Morrisons gave a full refund on my next visit, having taken pictures to prove the packing mistake.
I got these when was 2 for 50p Monday and omg they are rank straight in the bin they went
