Wonky Apples - 5 for 80p from Monday 6th Nov 2017

Now Morrisons has added the "ugly" fruits to its 15-strong wonky fruit and veg range, which also contains pears, courgettes and cauliflower, to help British farmers sell more apples.

These’s apples have been in my Morrisons for ages

We've had several large bags of Wonky Cox over the past few weeks

It’s such a great thing. I don’t know for how long supermarkets have been wasting these fruits and veg

My local store in Colwyn Bay almost never does the wonky fruit and veg. No idea why.

Bit over priced, 65p for 6 Golden Delicious in ALDI just now

only in Britain, everything has to be perfect, latest model car every year, phone every year, pc every year, etc etc, on the markets in spain the sell all the so called not perfectly correct shapes of fruit and veg, they have to work hard from dawn till dusk growing them, there will be many Spanish farmers heads being shaken from side to side in disbelief of the name wonky veg.

these were really OK when i had a few weeks ago - and i'm know to be a Jazz lover

Was going to say waiting for the Donkey ones.

Ok for grade 2 or 3 from the fruit market. 50p price would be about right for these apples.

Everytime I've seen the Spanish (EU subsidised) farms they've been populated with poorly paid migrant workers from Africa and elsewhere in Europe. You can see the plastic from orbit apparently.
