Hello all! Just spotted this deal in Morrisons Borehamwood!

Pick up 3 BAGS of Maris Piper Potatoes (2.5kg) for a shiny £1.00! Usual RRP is £2.00 per bag, so this is a MEGA SAVING!

Even if you don't need that many, it would be great to split between friends/family for those all important Roast Potatoes!

If you don't want 3 bags, Morrisons are offering each bag of potatoes at a cut price of 50p, which is still a fantastic saving.

Unsure whether this deal is online.

Do let me know if you spot them online/in your local store!

Happy Shopping and Seasons Greetings to all! xxxxx

19p a bag in aldi and 20p a bag in asda

Is this to rival the 19p Aldi/Lidl and 20p ASDA deals?

a kilo smaller in Lidl

I picked some up this morning from whitefield bury

aldi 19p wins

You can mix and match the 3 for £1 also as they also have bags of onions, carrots, parsnips and whole cabbages

That's a lot of potatoes

Yes, this must be to rival them. Such a shame I'm not round the corner from an Aldi/Asda etc to pop in to.

At this price, i dont think it matters if you buy from ALDI, ASDA or Morrisons, the customer wins!

57p for 3 2.5kg bags in Aldi

good find op,best spuds available, heat added

Got 2 x onions and a cabbage today.
Already have the 19p Aldi potatoes and carrots.
There will be lots of reductions on veg over the next week or two.
Let them keep hitting each other over the head with sticks!

Morrison's was still very quiet today compared with Aldi.
No queuing at Morrison's.

All these bargains since Brexit.

these UK companies like aldi and lidl are great

just bought 2 bags of onions and 1 bag of carrots for 1 pound....

57p for 3 2.5kg bags in Aldi

It is still cheaper .... but go check your bag weights in the aldi offer smarty pants

I allways find Morrisons veg poor quality so I will not be getting any !

Great, I live in Borehamwood, will check out later. Thanks Op

If this for Maris Piper potatoes then this is rediculously cheap. I'm pretty sure last year the deals were for 39/40 pence for Christmas seasonal vegetables. The German retailers have taken it lower again thus year. To be boring and calculate the maths ordinary white potatoes in Aldi/Lidl are 9.5 pence per kilogram. With Morrisons the price rises to just over 13 pence per kilogram. However these are a better breed of crop potatoes with the Piper's, so it's horses for courses. Oddly enough on Asda's website their potatoes are still showing normal pricing. Happy shopping!

they're actually 2kg bags in Aldi. But your point still stands. It.s 9.5p/kg at Aldi and 13.3p/kg at Morrisons with this deal

alsi are same maris piper and lidl are a different brand but baby type so best of both get some from both or 3 shops if u want depends how far they are from u though lidl and aldi are within 1 mile so can walk there and back with a few bags but morrisons is over 4 miles I give up on them

How can this get to 653 degrees when someone posted these potatoes and the other veg available in this offer almost two hours earlier and it only got to 73 degrees. This site is absolutely crazy sometimes

how does this get so hot when the other poster who was first isn't as hot this site confused me

I think it can always be hit and miss. I've used pretty much one bag of potatoes already, and they've been absolutely fine though so far.
