So I just did my first Morrisons online shop and I was pretty disappointed with their offers until I got to the checkout process, where they offered these so called flash sale items:
"Bag yourself a big bargain with our latest Flash Sales.
These exclusive offers are only available on this page, right now. Stock is strictly limited, so once they're gone, they're gone.
Maximum 20 promotional items per product."
I do not know whether everyone receives these offers during the checkout process, but these were some of the items that were included for me:
Morrisons Fishmonger Fish Pie Mix (R) 340g (£4.00): £1.40 (65% off)
Morrisons Mature White Cheddar Large (R) Typically: 250g (£1.81): 90p (50% off)
Skin On Boneless Salmon Fillets (R) 440g (£5.50): £2.75 (50% off)
Morrisons Smoked Extra Thick Rindless Back Bacon 6 Rashers 300g (£2.55): £1.27 (50% off)
Other items items I didn't add also included:
Half price raspberries, lamb chops, cucumber,

I dont know that Morrisons are the newest supermarket and they werent Safeway before. As far as I can recall, Morrisons bought out some branches of Safeway and they then were renamed as Morrisons stores. Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong
They kind of did a reverse takeover of Safeways in 2004 which saddled them with truckloads of debt. They dropped all of Safeway's technology and went backwards by 12 years.
This is why they have only just launched on line shopping.
never was safeway a you say.
morrisons seem to have appeared in a lot of ex Somerfield stores too.
as for them only just starting to deliver, just shows you, they have large customer numbers as financially they still been ok without offering that service.
just a shame they don't offer the fresh bakery items like the pasties as hubby loves them
You could always ask this bloke if he has any idea when the rollout will be complete.

All orders are delivered from a main base in the Midlands at the moment, not individual stores.
I love the items are from a main base and not handpicked off the shelves of a supermarket. i have had four lots of shopping delivered from them now , the service has been great and the food is the freshest and well presented food i have ever had from anywhere.Well done Morrisons
For example at the moment 2L blue cap milk is 44p, 1.25kg whole chicken with sage stuffing £1.89
Lol, you never mentioned ken morrisons speech and ultimate ban from the Safeway site for stating in no unclear terms, this was not a merger but a takeover, and that northerners worked harder than soft southerners..
He never went to Hayes again
Or that morrisons at the time had 2 qualified accountants and laid off over 160 qualified finance staff from the Safeway head office.
Ps. As part of the takeover of Safeway morrisons had to offload x number of Safeway stores to rivals, as did asda when they bought somerfield , hence all the supermarkets traded stores between themselves for a few years after the takeovers
