Jim Morrison was born in a van. Ironically Van Morrison was born in a gym. Suposedly thes 'fact' was included under an entry for the Doors in wikipedia at one time.

I'm going to quote that to people - thankyou so much

They're no way identical to the real ones, but I do prefer them.

I prefer Tesco own to McVities jaffas, never tried Morrisons though, as don't shop there.

Loving the picture and post wording!!!

Seriously??!!

i like these better, the chocolate is harder than mcvities.

I totally agree with posters above, supermarket value ones tend to be much nicer than mcvities ones.

John

How many factories in the world are there, that make Jaffa cakes? I can't see them being THAT different!

well i know how good the Manchester Mcvitees factory smells... mmmmm.. Almost rented a house nearby just for the smell, but balanced against the high crime levels it didn't quite balance out.

I have never seen any other brand which tastes even close to original jaffa cakes.

Its an excellent book, the follow up "wonderland avenue" is brilliant too but it doesn't get anywhere near as much love.

heat just for the choice of picture

DItto....

nice post
gonna have to try these out now.
added heat

Good deal great comedy picture! Have some heat.

great, heat added

These taste nothing like proper Jaffa Cakes. Consistency is completely different as well.

They are nice though.

Not voting either way because of the big, dirty lie, and because this has turned into a Jim Morrison love-in.

I wouldn't mind, but he's not even the best frontman called Jim Morrison...

Have to agree with the jaffa cake comments, i get asda's the ones in the box are not great but weirdly the smart price ones in a white plastic packet taste better.

Surprised at just how many mr mojo fans there are on here.

just off to Morrisons today

Worth a go I suppose!

Own Brands rule, My kids prefer the Tesco Jaffas to McVities, ill try these at this price. They last about , ohh 3 minutes a triple pack in my house, ...ive also noticed Tesco value eggs, the ones at 15 for £1.50 are always really fresh, they stand up in the pan like they've got silicon implants.

unlike the big eggs which spread out all over the pan so are probably about 30 days old.

God, could just eat some jaffa cakes.

Wish I could get hold of them at mine. Always empty shelves were the best buys are.
