They are the worst I have ever had they are yuck plus how want sprouts now !

I thought they were lovely. I cleared out our local Morrisons of them

I voted hot as it was the closest to a fireball of hot gas I could find.

Britains Blaster Brussels Bottom Burp Bomb......... oO

Christmas is over, get back to work

I don't care what label you slap n the packet, frozen sprouts are unfit for anything other than making stuffing.

Bought fresh last year and didn't like them so definitely back to frozen button sprouts for me.
Never tasted a chestnut!

Fry a couple of rashers worth of good quality smoked bacon lardons until crispy.
Peel the dark leaves from the outside of the sprouts.
Boil in salted water for no more than 7minutes and then drain.
Take a pack of Merchant Gourmet vacuum packed chestnuts and cut them in half.
Add the chestnuts, the sprouts, the bacon (and the cooking fat) together with a knob of butter and a teaspoon of honey and fry for a minute on high.
Serve
