I missed it the last time. Hope it helps someone. The reviews are really promising, has anyone on here played it?

Moss™ is a single-player action-adventure puzzle game from Polyarc tailor-made for the VR platform. It takes classic components of a great game—such as compelling characters, gripping combat, and captivating world exploration—and combines them with the exciting opportunities of VR.

In Moss, players meet Quill, a young mouse with dreams of greatness beyond the confines of her settlement. While exploring the woods, she finds a mysterious Glass Relic and an ancient magic is awakened. With her uncle now in grave danger, Quill must embark on an epic journey—and she needs you there by her side. Together, you'll travel to forgotten realms, solve challenging puzzles, and battle menacing enemies. Alone, no one can conquer what you're up against. But united, you just may defeat even the darkest of villains.

A decent saving.
I bought the steam pc version in the humble vr bundle for less than this price, with a bunch of other games.

Maybe worth looking up, if you have a way to stream it and a pc, and of the bundle is still going

Not so good if you want to run your quest without a pc. Mine spends most it's time as a standalone headset. Especially when you factor in the £30 minimum cable cost to connect to pc.

Very tempting as Superhot is on my shopping list too. Only thing holding me back is that I beleive I would need a cable attached to play apps purchased via Steam, am i right?

I got my quest last week. I have a psvr but never played it. The quest was a massive improvement because I could just drop the headset on my face pick up the controller's and play. I've played original Vive, PSVR and now Oculus quest.

The quest is currently my favourite just because it doesn't need a pc (and you can still add custom songs to beatsaber) but it can be connected to a pc for big games (gorn is a lot of fun).

A 3 metre cable costs 30 for a cheaper one that works (temp cable for me until the Oculus link cable is out). I would advise a 5 metre cable though (these come in around 50) or wait for the official link cable.

It works well but you need a usb 3.1 gen 2 port on your pc.

£30 3m Amazon one was £8

It needs to be a USB 3.1 gen 2 (or usb 3.2 same thing). Easy to find long usb 2.0 cables for cheap but not 3.2. took me a whole evening to find a decent, long USB C to C that was 3.2 rated. Oh and it has to be an active cable, passive ones don't work.

Edit: Turns out I had bad info. Nevermind live and learn .

amazon.co.uk/gp/…h=1 works fine, now gone up to 8.99.

Didn't need to be 3.2 or gen2 at all stop taking rubbish

Active is only needed for over 5m, did you do any research?

And that charges the headset at the same time too? Cos I read you needed higher grade cable to do it? I also needed C to C...

Waiting for the Valve headset and controllers to be a bit more reasonable. Tried one and the screens were really good. Can`t really justify the cost at the moment but one day..maybe.

its limited to usb 3, you get no benefit from 3.1 or higher. I paid less than £20 for a usb 3 3m cable plus a 5m active usb 3 repeater for a total of 8m. no difference than the official cable apart from being a bit heavier.

To be fair to you, no amount of research will guarantee which cable will work.. except the Oculus one.
I tried a few that others said worked fine for them... Then I switched to a different random one I liked the look of and it was MUCH better quality and 100% reliable, ones other people suggested kept dropping connection...
Also no-one mentioned wireless desktop?
You still need a capable PC but still works well without a cable

That is one option.
You can also do it wirelessly through WiFi.
Using virtual desktop(paid), or the newer (free) ALVR.
I use it wirelessly to play steam games and it's very good quality.
But you have to have a very fast WiFi point nearby, and have your pc wired to it with ethernet cable.

Still get the wireless freedom, with the steam games.

And get vivecraft mod for Minecraft too while you're at it, works perfectly

Or use a cheap usb wifi dongle on your pc with the games on and use Win10 adhoc hotspot function.
I own a PSVR and Quest but hardly go on the PSVR due to set up time, drift etc... (to be fair I’ve not been on my Quest in a while) I’ve always been interested in this game but I’m wondering if the graphical downgrade of the quest version is worth the trade off?

No you can stream steam games to your quest. Have to sideload now I think though.
