This is a very good price for an MOT - VOSA price is £54.85.

USE CODE: MOT25-0214

I know KwikFit have a bad rep amongst some people, but must say the branch i use in Orpington on Sevenoaks Road is brilliant (and i dont work for them!)

Have put cars through there for MOT several time (inc last week) and bar having an odd bulb changed always been passed.

yeah tried them last time on this offer (never again) they charged me £20 for 4 bulbs even though they were all working before driving in.

I just tried them once on this offer and they tried to rip me off for almost £200!!! I get car to my mechanic and kwikfit issued mot without even checking again my car. Avoid them

AVOID Kwik-Fit, a bunch of useless muppets!

good price, but they will take an age to do anything, once took them over an hour to change 2 tyres on a car i took in and also will charge a fortune for all those extras to claim the money back.

Avoid !They will most likely find a fault they just happen to fix for you at a ludicrous price.

MOTd my partners there last month for £25 (trade price) failed on a couple of bits. Bulb, track rod ect.

Took the car away to fix them and took it back for a retest a few hours later and they didn't even check the car. Just reissued the MOT

It's only £2 more to use Just MOT's LINKY, who as the name implies only do MOT's and as such have no vested interest in finding things wrong with your vehicle

You'd have to be mad to use Kwik-fit IMHO (_;)

That link would be great - but you need to book 90 days in advance - otherwise for this sat its £35.

Shame the nearest one to me is 62 miles away

Oh dear.............

I've had my car MOTd there for the last two years with zero issues. That said my car is only a 2009 plate, so very little to find fault with other that tyre wear.

Doubt I'd take a car to KwikFit for an MOT thats over 6 years old.

I go to my local council, pay the standard price, you know where you are and even got a replacement bulb thrown in. There are some independents that do mot's only for a similar price but not local to me.

Likewise, they are not looking for ongoing business, and will replace lightbulbs, wiper blades FOC if needed

Didnt know local council places replace a few bits free.

Agree tho - they do a real MOT in that thats their job, not to upsell other services.

There is a fine line between bulls!t and lies, Kwikfit, in my area, cross it every time on my visits.

Have to see them, the car lease company insist.

I once took advantage of a Kwit Fit oil-change offer. Given the damage they caused I'll never let them anywhere near my car again, for any reason, at any price.

Bunch of grease-monkeys

Its a good price for an MOT, but Kwik-Fit are a bunch of shysters and I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them

Mine is currently having it's first MOT at local main dealers for grand total of £27. I took my previous cars and my partners car to the local Council test centre £33 last time.

same with me but i didnt even do anything lol my mechanic said to bo back and said to them to call him

Took my car in and passed with no issues. That said it's had new brake discs and pads this year, recent new wipers, I'd checked the fluid levels, tyre pressures and tread depths so knew the usual suspects would be ok.

Thanks. Just used it today and got my MOT for £25
