I highly recommend the orb.
My wife had been looking at some bugaboo fox or something for twice the price. This any good or is it like comparing a vauxhall mokka to a Lexus NX?

We've got our first child on the way in November, and this has been on e of the biggest obstacles as we have found it impossible to choose something which is necessary yet waaaaaaay overpriced for what they are. I'll be checking this deal out but at the moment, we are set on the Cosatto Giggle purely down to the fact that around 8 friends/family have all used it and found little to no fault.

We attended a baby fair and had in our minds we where going to buy a icandy or an egg. We ended up buying a meego Milano, we tried several before deciding on that. It was the suspension that sold it and how nice it was to push.

I would recommend you look first at the car seats that perform best in crash tests (not just min standards of adequate protection at low speed) Google crash test rather than reviews. Then try it in YOUR car. Not all seats are a good fit in all cars. It depends on the angle of the cars seat and the width of the car door etc.

Get a pushchair that has adapters for the car seat. Most of the better quality seats have adapters for many brands.

When choosing YOUR pushchair make a list of your needs and check it will meet them.
- will it fit in the car boot with the shopping or travel cot and is it heavy or awkward to lift in and out?
- if you use public transport is it narrow enough to go down the asle?
- Do you need a big basket?
-Height adjustable handle? If you are fairly tall or short you need to do a test drive around a shop floor to make sure you aren't kicking the wheels.
Do you want one a toddler seat can be added to later?
Also double check if your lifestyle is similar to the friends recommending the pushchair. If they like to go to town at the weekend and you like to go for a stroll in a park the type of pushchair wheels that suit you would be different.
I agree there is no need to overspend for something you will use for 12 -18 months before you buy a stroller.
After having a second child, if Cosatto did a double buggy that was the same setup as a Bugaboo then we’d have another Cosatto. We have a Bugaboo Donkey (marvellous name) and the price you pay for fabrics that fade, for a folding system that can’t be executed without scraping all the front plastics and ruining the look of it is appalling. Our previous Cossatto Giggle 2 travel system was a far sturdier, better built and more pleasant buggy/pram to use all round for a third of the cost.

Cossatto all day in this house!
