Kids have been here a few times when visiting friends in the area & although not the largest of places, they've always enjoyed themselves & ask to go back whenever we are in the area. We've always bought offers like this, not sure it's worth full price but with these offers it's great value, usually spend 2-4hrs there, go somewhere for lunch then nip back in for another hour or so

Valid Mon-Sun 10am-6pm until 27th July - kid's in Scotland break up a lot earlier than elsewhere in the UK, so thought I'd share to help with cheap days out

Normal Entry prices are £5.75 for adults if booked online & rather unusually the offer prices are based on 2 or 4 adults, so you can visit with / without kids

Amazonia is Scotland’s only indoor tropical rainforest packed with exotic animals, birds and creepy crawlies. You'll find poison dart frogs, tarantulas, pythons, fruit bats, assassin beetles, geckos, chameleons, marmoset monkeys, toucans, parrots, giant millipedes, leaf cutter ants, koi carp and many more exotic animals. Your ticket for two, three or four will give you unlimited entry into Amazonia all day, so you're sure to have enough time to thoroughly explore

T&C's

  • One voucher per pair or per group of three or four people.
  • May buy multiples as gifts.
  • Voucher valid until 27th Jul 2019.
  • Valid Mon-Sun 10am-6pm; last entry 5pm.
  • Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult; under-3s go free.

So where is it? Motherwell or Glasgow? Two different places, one has the best football team in Scotland, and the other has four very average football teams. Can you guess? Haha. Basically, Motherwell is not a part of Glasgow in any way, shape or form.
Amazonia is technically in Bellshill, not Motherwell or Glasgow

Exactly correct. But that is probably also a suburb of Glasgow according to some!

I would have said Hamilton, but where do they start and end... Strathclyde Park? Ha
M&Ds in Motherwell?

Any need for that on a site like this ?

Is is it true though?
Amazonia is rubbish. You'll be in and out in under 30 mins

Have to agree with you,we went a few years ago and it was very poor along with the theme park. It may have improved since though.

I think it’s fair to refer to it as Motherwell/Glasgow for a nationwide forum. I wouldn't know Motherwell sized towns 10 miles outside of say Leeds. Just an audience thing, you know?

And for the record, I live in Motherwell. And good deal!

Rubbish comment. You are obviously a Tim or Hun fan, and see Motherwell as some sort of suburb of Hum or Tim land!

Nope support neither. I’m from Paisley originally and therefore support St Mirren.

Any other sweeping generalisations you’d like to make?!
Thanks for posting! We are visiting Scotland in June and staying in Motherwell, so this works out really well for us. We have a 2 year old and 9 months old babies and they'll go free, so an hour or two for all 4 of us for £6.50 is a bargain of the day!
