To end any doubts- moto are the only direct sellers of the 2GB version, Argos and others are all 1GB. Yes, this is dual SIM. On paper looks interesting but is very poor experience, ghosting screen and sluggish doing basics like whatsapp or taking pictures. I would still avoid at this price, it needs to come down another 20 quid at least to be decent value.

I would pay £10 more and get the Moto G5 at O2 if I needed a good quality budget phone

Ordered this direct from moto for my Aunty last month. Can confirm it’s got 2gb ram and two SIM card slots.

I think O2 one is Moto C, this one is Moto C Plus

It's mentioned elsewhere that this phone is dual-sim. Can anyone confirm this?

Big battery.... But only 1gb of ram

Still if you're undemanding and just WhatsApp Facebook and football results then this will be fine

Think Argos have red refurbished on eBay for £65

Big battery but only 1Gb ram. Strange

The c plus has 2gb ram. Just ordered one for 79 with delivery using the code. Thanks OP

That's good point. G5 is better with good screen, camera etc, unless C Plus is dual-sim.

gsmarena.com/com…454

overheated, would be hot at 49.99 imho..

edit: didn't realise its 2gb. that make this ok? i guess

faxmax is correct in that only Motorola sell the 2gb version of Moto C Plus. And yes, I can confirm that it has a dual SIM. Be aware that the second SIM slot is 2g. I use mine with a 3 SIM and it's 4g in slot 1.

I disagree with faxmax regarding it being sluggish. It certainly is not sluggish and it works a treat with Whatsapp, both for sending and receiving pictures.

Another thing I particularly like about it is that it lasts several days on one charge. I also like the fact that the battery is not welded into the handset like so many are today. Meaning it can be easily replaced should it ever need to be.

I can't think what else one would reasonably want from a mobile phone. I cannot comment on its gaming ability since I dont use it for gaming. But for browsing it is perfect.

I can't understand why folk want to splash out many hundreds of pounds for Samsung and iphones et al. Maybe some people have too much dosh!

Moto E4 Plus is better option but i guess this code dont work for E4 plus

I have the Moto C i've not found it sluggish at all i can open up Facebook and scroll through very quickly on my tablet running Jellybeans it's very slow and frequently comes up not responding it plays video content instantly and unlike my tablet will actually play the videos i've bought off the play store on the play movies app the only issue i've had is a couple of times the bluetooth has randomly turned it's self on when i've been doing something on an app but that's it

My galaxy S8 has a headhphone jack, does that also make it 'not a 2017' phone? :P

This is not a bad deal for the 2gb ram version, considering picking one up for my mum to replace her Moto E.

I bought one for my Mother in Law from Argos, assuming it only has 1gb of RAM you wouldn't know as it has been faultless since purchase. For web browsing, WhatsApp and dare I say it "making calls" it's been perfect. If like her you aren't constantly on your phone watching video/playing games the battery lasts ages!

Working again

The battery looks amazing.

These aren't selling at all, that's why the code is back. I don't just mean UK/Europe, I was in India the other week which is a major target market for this modek and shops were flogging off at £60, which is very cheap since Western brands charge a premium in India, and still no takers.

Heat! Ordered one for my father. Thanks

not going to be sim free at 02 though eh

Code seems to bring this down to £79 not £79.99. Has this changed from before or is the deal title wrong?

Ordered one for my Grandmother for Xmas, she hates smartphones due to their 'terrible' battery life so she went back to her old Nokia. Hopefully this 4000mah battery will finally make her switch.

Hi, is this deal now dead? Code not working.

NOT WORKING FOR ME EITHER :-(

Is this the best sub £100 andoid mobile out there? Or how abou the Samsung J3 or the Honor 6a?

Not working - expired?

Made an order on the 8th and just got the phone this morning.

Thank you!
