Nah I want proof of this deal, so please show a photo of the receipt being held by your granny and her mum. X)

tempting op! Ta

Thanks OP.

I'm hoping some Online retailer will Price Match.....

What if you are a PAYG EE customer with a current SIM?

Brilliant phone, only downside is the ridiculous 4gb internal memory and the 5mp camera is poor, but the phone is superb.
PLUS - unlike my Sony Z2 it is quite easy to transfer apps to SD card.
Sony can't or WON'T do it, just blaming KitKat. Moto E is KitKat 4.4.4 and does it smoothly

Can this be unlocked via eBay?

i used this guy to unlock got code in ten minutes
It says Tesco mobile but he does any network

I tried in another thread and no-one would give an informative answer, here's hoping.
Does anyone know what these are like for people wearing hearing aids? I believe there is a setting (HVAC?) for people to change.

You still have to top up £20 I was told instore today, I wonder if you call them is it possible they would offer to waive the £20 top up and offer a loyalty discount like they have been doing for the lumia 635 and huawei phones?

Thanks, that is what I have come across already but was hoping someone may have some real world experience on how they sound/inteference etc.

No worries, I've got one of these handsets, but don't know anything about use with hearing aids, if you know which setting it is, I'd be happy to check for you.

20 quid top up needed, I questioned it assuming theybmight be just trying to upsell but she checked the computer and asked another staffer.

Thanks, it's on that page you linked to:
To enable/disable the Hearing aids setting - Touch Phone > Menu Image > Settings > Hearing aids (may be HAC)

Just had an extensive search through the handset and there isn't any settings to enable or disable HAC, nor is there any setting for hearing aids.

However, according to Motorola this handset, the Moto E (XT 1021) is rated as M3, T3.

Other than that, I guess your only other option might be to try it out in person.

Thanks for all your help, certainly better than the two replies I got in the other thread!

got one of these phones off voda when they were 45 and they are shockingly good.the battery is brilliant lasts all day heavy use.screen is fantastic.phone is so fluid.can't understand how such a low performance phone on paper works so well.performance wise its no different to moto g.battery is actually better.the only downside to this phone is the camera.it is terrible.really bad.even in good light.one good thing about this phone also is its easy to transfer apps to memory card.not all apps but a lot from play store and Amazon apps.bargain phone of last year and this year at 50 or less

Should it be updated to the correct price then £59.99?

I wonder if I could use the credit to buy stuff in Google Play... does anyone know?
