Decent spec for the price
Motos are just great phones. At least a 2 day battery life. Never had a problem with the 4 varients we have including the E4. Others report problems like phantom dial. We have never had a single problem over the last 6 years with any of our Motos. So much better than my pain in the butt iphone.
5AH battery makes it a very decent buy.

for a moment there I thought we were at the pantomime
Just purchased, Don't forget Quidco, another £2.10 in my pocket. A big to OP.
According to the the techradar review this won't be getting the Oreo update. Was just about to buy one as well.

Still a decent price for the phone though. Heat added

No, it's a downgrade in almost every way, apart from the large battery.
Anyone know if this has NFC? Reviews from last year say it doesn't but Motorola website lists it has it?

Edit: Seems just the US version doesn't have it. UK one should.

I don't need one but I'm tempted to buy it, how bonkers is that!

Must put HDUK away!
Ordered ! My new bike phone for Strava, maps and Bluetooth, huge battery is easily enough for 100 mile rides. Nano coating to prevent water damage although not water resistant I believe.

Ordered - had a play around with one at Three before deciding, they have them on display. Of the 16GB around 5-6gb is taken up by system and pre-installed apps.

Seems pretty good deal given it has NFC and fingerprint scanner which you usually don't get both of on a budget phone. Went through TCB for extra 5% but yet to see if it will track.

Edit: Cashback tracked at £4.38

Has this got to do with the CPU support in any way since it's MediaTek quite often don't get regular updates compare to the likes of Qualcomm Snapdragon ones? The E4+ is a good phone but that MediaTek is just stopping me taking the next step.
Ordered... Decent spec at that price.. Thanks OP
Anyone who uses their phone as one of their main devices for entertainment, and is in anyway prone to downloading an app or two, should avoid 16gb phones altogether.
32gb is the new minimum.

The various ways to move apps to the sdcard are rife with ineffectiveness, and the 9-10gb you get left after the OS will be filled up in no time (consider that from about 2gb left you will notice a perform drop).

This means 16gb phones are for light users only, or as a backup phone, or as discussed this would make a decent activity phone. This deal is hot nonetheless.
Upgrade from a g4.?
Bought one of these second hand for £75 for a friend. Expected it to be awful but was really surprised. HOT for this price.
Will that fit my ee sim?
Thanks OP. Just ordered for my wife.
I have a Moto G4. Hopeless battery life and poor camera. Is this any better?
Anyone with one know if when using both sims you get 3g + 3g networks at the same time or even 3g + 4g per sim? I have an old duel sim phone and it only supports 2g on one sim + 3g on the other sim at the same time. Thanks

As it's virtually stock android you just put an SD card and adopt the storage. Can't remember what the max these take now, potentially add 128gb for 30 quid.

Lots of people I know have minimum apps installed. Maybe iPlayer, Sky and Facebook but little else.
