£119.99 (down from £129). Use codes WELCOME10 and MOTOUK25 to get this down to £89.99. Includes free delivery.

5 inch display, 16GB storage, 2GB RAM, 8MP camera on rear and 5MP forward

Seems like a good phone for the money - purchased for my dad. Good review here: techradar.com/reviews/moto-e4

Seems to be £120 everywhere else

Some blurb lifted from John Lewis:

The 4th-generation of Moto E has arrived, bringing you a 5-inch display with 2-in-1 speaker at 84dB, 8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash and slim 9.3mm body. Add to that a long battery life, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and built-in protection from scrapes, spills and smudges and you'll find a smartphone that's perfect for everyday.

Quad-core processor
The Moto E4's quad-core processor with advanced graphics makes switching between two apps or listening to music while you browse the internet smooth and speedy.

Adventure-ready
A water-resistant coating and Corning Gorilla Glass make the Moto E4 ready to take a few bumps and scrapes while you explore. Add to that an all-day battery life, and you'll be sure to go for longer without losing contact with the rest of the world.

Expandable memory
The Moto E4 comes with 16GB of built-in storage for your apps and pictures. If you find yourself running out of room, you can also add a microSD card of up to 128GB, ensuring you can keep more apps, photos and music with you at all times.

Get snapping
A front-facing 5MP camera is great for quick selfies and video calls, while the 8MP main camera with autofocus on the back is ideal for taking photos and videos of friends and landmarks. The camera can be activated with a simple twist of the wrist, too, so you'll be able to capture moments more quickly.

5" screen
The 5" screen on the Moto E4 is the sharpest of it's size, packing in 294 pixels per inch, so you can see images and text more clearly.

4G LTE
With 4G LTE connectivity you can connect to the internet at high speed, all you need is a compatible data plan from your network. 4G makes looking up directions, making video calls and streaming videos quick and painless.
Community Updates
The description from JL is for UK Version with downgraded to 8Gb internal memory.

It's sold by the manufacturer so wouldn't be locked to a network. They would need to say if it was locked. Brought from them before and sim free and unlocked

Much better deal than E4... Good spot
Trying both codes (wanting the E4+) and although it accepts both, it will only add the largest of the two discounts, not both.

Anyone got them both to stack?
do UKWELCOME10 first, then add MOTOUK25 second
Excellent - both codes worked for me just fine. Thanks!
E4 plus = 139.99

UkWelcome10 takes it down to £130
Then added
MOTOUK25 to take it to £105

However

If I just add the MOTOUK25 without the other, it takes it straight down to £105 anyway

**Although I now realise both codes together (10 & 25 ) add up to a total discount of £35 anyway so I'm not actually missing out!

Comes FedEx from China in about 8 days.
Fantastic phone. Charge last for days.
I was regretting not getting the moto g5 on black Friday sales, this looks almost as good, for the same price. Got 2 for parents.

It's hard to find good 5" screen phones with half decent specs without all the extra 3rd party apps and fluff.

Upgrading from 2x old moto e (stuck on lollipop 5.1). I believe this version (nougat 7.1.1) has the option for adoptable storage for the sd card so the internal 16gb storage shouldn't be too limiting.

No. Probably not, but I was just answering the question.
Cheers, just got the e4plus to replace an original moto g
I have a Moto G4 and it has been disappointing - worked lovely for 6 months and after that it got rediculous screen burn. You use an app for three minutes and the outline of the app stays there for ten minutes. I sent it off under warrenty and it wasn't resolved - a google search shows that this is a common unsolveable issue.

Does anyone know if this is the case with the E4? I prefer to buy budget phones but I want something that is fairly bug free!

Wow great
Does anyone understand Motorola's confusing model line up now? Doesn't seem to be linear (ie one model clearly next up in rank, etc.). What's needed is a table of models vs specs. Does anything like that exist?
Ordered the E4+, thanks for posting this

I think it is dual sim as it is purchased direct from Motorola store, but it comes at the cost of not having NFC (single sim only).
