Tesco is doing for £129.99 and if you have a code you will get another £10 off so it will cost you £119.99 + £2.10 for unlocking from eBay I tried myself and it works

Bought it for £120 from CPW a month back. Last week this was £99

no price match + more expensive price to tesco online (or as a fallback the shops do have them in) = cold

Its ok for some people to say they bought elsewhere cheaper, however I know from experience that trying to buy the 16gb version of this phone for my daughters christmas has been a nightmare. No supplier had it in stock and I eventually pre ordered from Amazon at this price and as usual cant fault amazon with prompt delivery when it became available. Therefore, although you may find it cheaper (thats a big maybe), if you are short on time and need for christmas this is as good a deal as you will find for sim free 16gb version. Thanks for posting to help others

great next best deal

Just checked CPW and they currently don't have it listed so I guess they don't have it available so what do you suggest??

£99 for the 16Gb version? Not in a million years!

Also, I have a friend who works in CPW and he has told me that they will NOT be stocking this phone because the profit margin is too low.

fantastic post....slight problem though....not in stock, locked to Tesco mobile....numpty!!!

Submit for notification when they become available in Tesco online. I did this last time and managed to grab one for £115 after £10 off and quidco

Picked up my Tesco 16GB yesterday, they come back in stock regularly and can be unlocked on eBay for just over £2.

i also got mine from tesco! there are a few stores in manchester (and ive heard all over the uk) that have loads of stock on! so if tesco online dont have any then just nip to the store i also used ebay to unlock and it cost me £2.03

So instead of making a small profit they think they'll make a bigger profit selling punters something else. Only problem with that is everyone knows this is the probably as good a phone you're going to get for under £150 (if not £200). People will just buy elsewhere, CPW sell less phones, go into administration, one less shop on the high street, they cry about firms like Amazon and Tesco forcing them out of business, people lose jobs.

A little dramatic license may have been applied in this post.

Well, if you're so sure then go into CPW and ask for one. I am 100% SURE about what I claimed. I look forward to your reading your apology.

No it never was, CPW has no intention on selling this, go to any CPW and ask , they will tell you the same thing, however you now removed the comment where you quote you bought it from CPW , and you saying Tesco

Tesco have the 8gb in stock for £99.

Oh, I quite believe you are right. I never said you weren't. I questioned CPW's business plan in not stocking one of the biggest selling handsets in the run up to Christmas just because they can;t make a massive profit on each unit. Unfortunately, too many businesses have similar business plans. I look forward to reading your apology.

You believe that I am right in what I stated but you want an apology?
Read the following link - It shows that Motorola/Google make less than 5% profit on each phone. All Google are interested in is getting the brand they purchased (Motorola) a household name again. If a major retailer doesn't believe that there is a reasonable profit to be made then it is their choice whether to stock it or not.

Motorola profit

I believed you were right in the first post, your second made it clear you didn't read or understand what I wrote. The third too. I'll stop waiting.
