Found 19th Oct 2014
Saw the Vodafone PayG deal at Tesco for £90 and decided to see if they had any instore. Picked up one on the Tesco network for £60. Heath Hayes Tesco store but apparently nationwide.
Amazing piece of kit for £60.

Nice find OP

I hope it's nationwide, but there's only one way to find out...

Unleash the geese!

I got TESCO cs to check all local stores to me bathgate to Glasgow but there are none. I went for the white 4g version for 125

waste of time no stock in stores in Kent

this has been nationwide for months, but to say that stock is few and far between is a massive understatement.
I won't be wandering off to my local Tesco based on this

This deal is based on if the staff bought them or not

Is there any way to know if there is any stock near Bristol? Thank you

can OP plz provide the barcode thanks

phone the local stores If you phone one they should be able to check other stores.

As if staff are going to let customers get any ...........

No stock

I assume it's Catalogue Number 454-8906 ?
Called cs, no stock in Southampton or Hampshire.

There was no moto g on their system when I went in last week...so it is very much as case of u might find one in every 200th store!

Spoke to Tesco mobile people a couple of months ago, they said they don't stock them anymore and just told me to check online, so if you do find one, you are incredibly lucky,

I got one of these a couple of months ago because it was cheaper than getting my cracked screen replaced. The tesco phone shop told me that these were only available in stores which don't have a phone shop. They checked another local store and they had them just out on the shelves.

I got one of these a couple of months back as it was cheaper to buy this than get my cracked screen repaired on my contract phone. The tesco phone shop guy told me that these were only available in stores which don't have a phone shop and they just have them out on the shelves. They checked with another store and got them to put one aside.

Mmm, how did you get it for that price? Normally £149 aren't they?

Balls! I added heat accidentally. I wish there was a way to undo heat on this site!

I am always amazed at the heat deals get when it is almost certain that they are of very, very limited availability.I guess most people vote without reading the deal in full.

Still hot if you can get one.

there you go

shows as £135, add to basket and create a new user account with a new email address, then enter code TDX-HTRW to get £10 off, making the total £125 with free delivery to your house

OK, I thought he might have haggled in the shop.

Looks like 5.0 lollipop will come to the Moto G

Needs to state in-store and the store it was found in in the title... Then it might get the disdain it deserves.
I never vote on supermarket in-store deals because the geese are always too quick for me but I don't begrudge them being on here as there'll be 1 or 2 people who will benefit... It just needs to be clear in the title.

So how many have got one (surely loads due to the 300° heat)

It was £59 in store. Will try to get the exact barcode tonight.

We didn't even know about this deal, was hoping they'd have the Vodafone one available on Tesco Direct for £89 in-store.

We may have got very lucky getting it, but when you find it in the first store you go to it's difficult to say how "rare" it is until other people have tried.

you must be new here, but that not how this site works i'm afraid. The deal is generally voted on based on price. Availability is generally not factored into the voting process by the majority.

The 8GB 2013 Moto G was around this price and on HUKD about two months ago. I did the same, and there were no Moto Gs for that price anywhere in or around Glasgow.

Surely if the product is unavailable around the country it should have 'expired on it- as that is what it is, essentially.

It is a time wasting exercise, which the website managers should pull if they are trying to make it an efficient service for users...

Yes. Been here 4 years longer than you....

I phoned customer services earlier today and was told none in stock near me though they did confirm that it was marked down to £60 in stores nationally for the 8GB model so great for those whose nearby stores have stock though its likely that most have been bought. Guess its being at the right place at the right time. Well done to those who were lucky enough to find them.

I didn't think the Moto G camera was that good. Not bad at all

This Moto G is superb. Same resolution as the new one but screen is smaller so its sharper. Also easier to hold. Same chip inside I think.
