It's a good phone, i think you'll get more heat if you can explain why this is the cheapest available..
(EG Is £139.98 on ebuyer.)

Time is moving on and other phone are too. This is a great phone but the price should be dropping to under £100 by now.

I got the 1st gen on a 24m contract - not worth paying it off to early upgrade. I should have learned my lesson from the last Motorola I had. Hard to say what exactly is wrong about it , its just meh.

shame it only does 2.4ghz band on wireless

I got the 1st Gen version before christmas last year for £89 at Tesco, only a few months after it was released.

£140 is the normal price for this phone, it hasn't received any major price drops at all. This is probably because it's dual SIM and no networks want to carry a dual SIM phone.

i had an email alert from morecomputers (i was watching their stock way back) saying that they've been told there will no more new stock, sounding like it's end-of-line for this model?

superb phone

Oh well, hopefully they'll produce a 4G dual-sim version, as I've been tempted but know I'll regret getting a 3G-only phone now.

4G version is usually £125-135 i dont know now, locked to Tesco mobile but 99p unlock code from ebay do the job. Only problem with 4G is lack of 2G in some places is no any 3G/4G signal so 2G only allow you contact with world.
But this deal for £139 is cold.

I bought this phone from Amazon when they had it at what I thought was a reasonable price to buy. As far as dual phones this is the best one so far for me, and for anyone that wants a reliable phone for a dual sim cards. It holds it power for a whole day and if you get battery doc is even gives you more power. As for the 4G, well I use 3G and 2G and they work as fast as I want and I am a very happy bunny!

Yeah that applies to the network rather than the phone but still a fair comment.

So you have found this 5 inch dual sim model cheaper where? You forgot to say.

£125 on Tesco PAYG and as said before get it unlocked for 99p

Why? This is the larger screen 2nd gen version. Can't see why it is cold as it is the cheapest available and is sim free. Thought the main reason for voting a deal cold was because you can get the exact same cheaper elsewhere.

I don't know why this deal has been voted cold. I had the first Gen Moto G and it was a cracking phone. For this phone it's the cheapest I've seen it.

I was one of the unlucky people who got caught up in the Black Friday Vodafone deal for the LG G2. I almost bought this phone but decided to try for the LG G2 but not as yet managed to get it.

This will be my second choice phone if I can't get the LG G2,

This is a great phone... I purchased the Moto G from tescos for £99 no lags as yet it's a good buy love it .... I'm after another deal for £99 for this phone but can't find one as yet ...£125 is to much money for it they should of dropped it to £99 again now

But I have good news about this little baby.... Google has released the update from Kitkat to Lollipop as from 11th Dec 2014 you can either wait for the update to come through on your Moto G or you can download from the net ... I would paste the link but my paste button not working and cant be arsed to type this again lol

I havent tried it yet but sure it'll be great for a nice little phone ..... be grateful because this update isnt
even on the Nexus ....Thanks Google

Just to clarify, the phone in the op is not the one you buy for £125 in tesco.

If I'm not mistaken this deal is for the Gen 2 with a 5in screen.
