Phone plan is £3.50 - can be paid off early, so only £84 (£3.50 x 24).

airtime plans are priced competitively, although appaz you cannot cancel within 2 weeks as you can with 02 refresh.

So a good deal IF you are looking for a new contract and want a moto g 4g

(thanks to commenters below)

£12.21 tcb with £12.50 tariff.

Collect clubcard points.

Extra data can be added in £2.50 increments.

24 x £11 = £264, headline price needs to be updated

Tesco is different to O2 refresh. You can pay off the phone whenever you want but no matter what you're stuck in the airtime contract for 24 months unless you pay early termination fees.

cold as airtime can't be cancelled

Contract is 24 x £3.50 phone charge and cheapest tariff is £7.50 per month.

Wouldn't you be charged 24 x £11.00........?

Above all correct - sorry - spammed.

Gonna get cold on that basis then....

I was under the impression that they (large companies) were legally obligated to offer a cooling off period either one week or two?

and regardless it's still a good price for this phone IF you are looking for a new cheap contract, especially as you can add extra data for £2.50.

In which case you'd hand back any equipment supplied by them would you not?

Title needs changing to 24 x £11 (minimum).

possibly, as i said in OP i don't know, in the process of trying it, i don't mind being 'stuck' with the contract, as i need a new one anyway, and it's the best deal i've found for my needs (300 min, plus 1gb data).

Good luck, I have a feeling you'll need it.

At the very least your maths are out, if you get the phone at the cost stated you will have at least a months data charge on top of the handset cost.

wrong.

i will pay exactly £84 with the phone, then my contract will drop to the min.

IF you were to get the phone for the 24 x £3.50, you would still at the very least have your first months data to pay for on top of that, minimum being £7.50.

I think you'll find though to buy out the contract would involve 24 x £3.50 handset charge AND 24 x your chosen contract, which would be minimum 24 x £7.50 or maximum 24 x £15.00 depending on your choice when taking it out.

And just to add to that, you have to take out a new 24 month arrangement (with phone & airtime costs), so cheapest way to get the phone is to take the £11 contract & cancel after 23 months - total cost £256. Title still needs updating (cost is not £84).

Edit: Though, in theory, you could take out a contract, pay off the first phone for £84, taking out the same contract & second phone - if you had a desire for many of them (and Tesco allowed it), you could repeat until you have 10 phones + an ok 2 year contract for 9 x £84 + £256 (just over a grand).

I think the OP is suggesting cancel within the cooling off period (2 weeks?), and buy out the contract at the handset cost of £84.00 (24 x £3.50 monthly handset cost), the tariff cost is waived....oO

LOL.

But you did suggest that initially did you not ?

Title is still misleading.

Title should state ; 24 month contract @ £11.00pm, TOTAL £264.00 (24 x £3.50 handset cost and minimum tariff 24 x £7.50)

Description is still misleading.

Description is still suggesting you get the handset for 24 x £3.50 upon cancelling.
Minimum cost would also be 24 x £7.50 on top of the £84.00

Classic (if a bit class-less)! The OP of a non-existent deal suggesting that someone else should read things! LMAO

all i can say to that is.... 'Wow' *shakes head*.

I believe if you cancel in the cooling of period you have to return the phone. If you don't and you pay for the phone then you're tied in for two years.

Can't blame the OP for thinking it's worth a try and most other companies let you leave without penalty as long as you pay the handset off in these refresh type tariffs. Tesco seem to be the only one that doesn't.

Nobody's disagreeing with that ?

Cancel the contract and pay 24 x £3.50 handset cost and 24 x £7.50 (minimum) tariff cost to buy out the contract, minimum total cost is £264.00.

I really don't see where the OP has a problem with folks stating this ?

That makes no sense, a bit like the deal you posted (which you have now completely changed via edits as it did not exist).
