£9 cheaper than other 'deals' posted on here.

The new moto G is 2014's best budget phone. Sure the price will be lower when you can buy them locked to a network and get an unlock from ebay, but right now that's not a option.

It's more of the same, just bigger, brighter, louder, more camera, and faster?

Not supporting 4G? Think to buy a 4G phone! Any advices?

Moto G 4G.

Not 4g.. Please stop moaning! Motorola just take my money. Great device for the price!

I've just been on Amazon chat and they couldn't tell me when they would be selling it. This seems the best price so far. Any idea of who they use as a courier?

Would like to khow this..... Moto UK state it's dual SIM and on DigitalSpy someone bought a dual sim in the UK at an event so seems likely. Got a feeling I read that it's not dual 3G sim though only 1x 2G and 1x 3g sim capable

Other things may be same or better but pixel density is very much down .

Is this a dual sim?

The Motorola SKU given SM3926AE7B1 brings up a few other companies selling this as dual SIM 5" Moto G so looks likely it is dual sim and I suspect given what Moto UK website say, the UK models will all be dual SIM which makes me wonder if any UK network will be likely to want to supply it.

I have a feeling that the networks will carry the single sim version. it clearly states on Motorola's website that a single sim version exists.

If its anything like the original moto g the duel sim version will be for the asian market so treble check before you buy if thats what you need.

i have had the original moto g since before xmas and they are great phones for the money, will give this one a miss as i prefer a smaller screen so i wont gain much but if you like larger phones its highly recommended..

Definitely. Networks don't sell dual SIM phones, and I doubt they would make an exception for the Moto g.

Also, the UK website lists the versions with digital TV, which almost certainly won't be coming to the UK. It's probably the same information on all of Moto's localised sites.

The OP pricing is based on use of Debit Card only according to their site.

I wonder if it is still waterproof?

It was never waterproof.

There is some form of splash protection, to stop it from breaking in rain...etc. It won't last long in a glass of water, or if you drop it in the toilet.

Youtube would suggest otherwise !

Cold from me I'm afraid.

It is the dual sim version but is NOT the LTE, so while you get the dual sim, you lose the memory card expansion slot, so you are stuck with 8gb. With the LTE (not dual) you can expand to 32gb through the slot.

The LTE can be got for £129 from O2 here [url=https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/phones/moto/g-4g/[/url]

it looks good but the acer e700 looks better

This is for the NEW Moto G with a 5" screen (launched yesterday), not the old Moto G with a 4.5" screen.

The new one doesn't have LTE in any form yet, but it does have an SD card slot in both the single and dual sim varieties.

Also, it's better in a few other areas - 8MP camera up from 5MP, dual front stereo speakers.

This is the best price by far at the mo. It was announced as being available "from £145".

How much price one can expect from vodafone and tesco etc ? When can we expect them selling it?

And that will definitely be locked so when can be the unlock code available?

I called vodafone to ask when they are going to launch this and the guy on the other side said he didn't know that a new model is launched.

So if I have to wait, how long it can be (make a guess)?

Early October is the expected release for the Network locked versions.

Going on the previous versions it will be £110-£135

Who knows if unlock codes will be available. The original was easy to unlock, but some people have struggled to get unlock codes for the more recent Moto G 4G.
