Cheapest I can find. Similar spec to the Lenovo P2 apart from smaller battery. Comparison here.

With the small battery and none OLED screen it comes across as a none budget, budget P2

does this suffer from ghost touches?

this is the only place that sells the single sim g5 plus. so it's not really the cheapest, it's the only place you can buy it! if you want dual sim then the only place is Moto website at £249 but there is a £10 first time buyer code. for me £10 more for a dual sim is a no brainer.

As far as I am concerned the g5 plus is a significant upgrade and I for one will be looking at buying it depending on how good the moto e4 plus is like

Beware, if you use Google maps to find your way round town the lack of a compass makes it really poor. I'm thinking of replacing my dual SIM g5+ from Motorola already. In this aspect it's A backward step from my dual sim moto g2

I gave up waiting for the price to start coming down on this. Bought a Xiaomi Redmi 4X for £107 - very pleased with it and having fun working out the Miui

Only if you assume that AMOLED is more premium; however all the premium flagships from Sony, LG and HTC are IPS so I suspect the actual production costs are on a level and the only real difference is preference. IPS doesn't suffer from screen burn like AMOLED and this is one complaint some P2 users already have about the device.

Whilst this doesn't have a huge battery like the P2, as part of the Moto line it stands a better chance of getting Android O. This has a much better camera than the P2 too - which I suspect is just as important to people as huge batteries. I'm not one of those people who thinks the P2 camera is rubbish but I'm inclined to think the Moto G5 Plus is in some regards an improvement, and probably worth 20 quid more to some people.

Yes, this is why I didn't go for this and went for the Lenovo P2 instead. Its a deal-breaker.
