This phone seems to get good reviews. Does anyone have one? Can you save WhatsApp media to an sd card or does it have to save to internal storage?
What's warranty like buying through amazon in Italy/or any other country? If something goes wrong do they cover the cost for return?

I bought a phone through Amazon.de and I imagine that all the European sites are the same. I was almost 6 weeks dealing with Motorola directly and I can tell you it was an absolute joke. They couldn't tell me when I would get my Moto Z back from their repair centre so I contacted Amazon.de, one email was all it took and they said to return the phone to them and they will refund me the total amount plus postage. Motorola's after sales is laughable, probably like many others, I'd only buy from a good retailer now after all the time I wasted dealing with Motorola.

I had to return an usb headset a few months ago. No problems whatsoever, I got refund plus postage in a couple of days.
Bought this at car phone warehouse the other day for £219, liking it very much so far. Will never buy a Samsung phone or any other Samsung product ever again after the way they treated me recently...
This phone has no magnetometer AKA Compass...
I bought this phone from Amazon.it back in November for £188. Don't know what the deal is with Amazon but the phone came from Amazon UK, nothing Italian about it.

It is good phone. I don't see an option to save media on SD card for What's up. I don't think this is a phone specific setting.

Generally WhatsApp saves content to your phone as its encrypted. And its safer that way as well. With a 32GB storage on the phone you wont have to worry about space for apps. You can store Pictures, Music and Videos on your sd card.

Cant comment on where whatsapp saved, but I bought this as a "very good" amazon warehouse phone a week or so ago, and so far, very impressed. Runs fast, charges fast, battery lasts well... Only thing not tested fully is camera. Feels like a much more expensive phone than it is. Looking for another one for my wife now...
Just in case this helps, in some reviews I have seen XT1805 presented as a dual-sim phone with a separate dedicated sd-card slot. This is not accurate, in this phone the second sim card slot is hybrid. Of course, there are ways to have 2 sim cards and the sd-card in, there are guides on youtube on how to do it.
I bought this phone when there was a deal via motorola/lenovo directly for marginally more. Excellent phone. Has nearly all the mod cons you need and quite fast. Most impressed by good battery life and v fast charging speed. For this price you can't go wrong. Suspect most new phones at this price range are pretty similar nowadays especially for the majority of users not pkaying high intensity games

If price is your driver, go for the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime (sometimes called Pro) - It is effectively the same phone with the addition of the compass (useful/essential for slow moving satnav) and an even beefier battery (I can roll into a third day with mine sometimes).
All this for £130ish quid.
Obvious cons are buying it from China, and therefore having to deal with them if things go wrong. I've had mine for a while now though so I view it as having had my money's worth...

As I say, specs are almost the same - I know because I was heavily researching this when it first came out

Whish is only needed if you're useless at reading maps while stood still
It's funny when i posted same phone from amazon germany few days ago it went cold.

Guess amazon italy is so much better than germany.

HUKD never ceases to amaze. So does human stupidity.
The one from Motorola direct is a dual SIM. One of the Sim slot doubles up as the memory card slot so you can use it as one is the other. Although I understand there are some ways to get around that
I just ordered this from Italy so I'll report back when I receive it.
BTW I checked the price from Amazon.de and it was a lot more expensive, Amazon UK only sell used phones for £205 though a few other suppliers are selling it through amazon but the cheapest is around £225
