Is this the best phone for this price range?
I had to return a phone with a fault to Amazon after 16 months of use..... no quibble whatsoever. I dropped the phone at a pick up point and within two hours had a full refund., even before they had received the item.

Not at all. If I had £240 to spend, I'd be looking at the P10 Lite from CPW for £180 or buy a used One Plus 3 for around £260 or the new Honor 7X.

So you just basically borrowed the phone for nearly a year and a half totally free of charge. That's just mad lol.
And if you can afford a bit more, HTC U Ultra

As if............

It was a fault that meant it wouldn't pick up a 3g or 4g signal.....

Too big.
Having had a G5S and Xiaomi MI A1 the MI A1 is better in my opinion and the A1 only costs £160.

Can you buy this from a UK based seller?
You can buy the A1 from UK sellers but they cost more than £160, I got my A1 from China without any problems or costs added on, never use DHL to ship from China you always get costs added on I always go for free shipping and out of around 150 purchases I've only had added costs once on a laptop.

P10 lite over the G5s Plus? Why, if I may ask?

Same or better specs, more attractive design & lower price

Thanks ciaozammer. Was worried about the glass back and front with some reviews saying it's a fragile phone.

For me it's that extra GB of RAM in the p10 lite.

If you have around 250, that's why I also mentioned a second hand one plus 3 as it has 6GB RAM which makes it a total beast.

I know what you mean, I'm a fan of the Moto phones of the past but I've ordered the P10 lite. I'll be buying a strong case for it... A lot of people are very careless and blame phones for breaking rather than themselves. If you regularly drop your phone curved glass isn't for you! I'll let you know how I get on.

Hahaha! I do seem to drop my phone with alarming regularity! I think the fact that it survived so many times made me a bit complacent. I might be better off looking at another option then.

Incidentally, got a chance to play with a P10 lite over the weekend. Owner was happy with it but had cracked the back after a drop. He now has the Spigen case and it looks suitably protected.

I've got my phone now and I'm very happy with it so far. The spigen case is a must as it's thin and is quite slippy. I would definitely recommend the p10 lite if you can get a good deal on it. I don't have any concerns about it breaking.

The CPW deal has now been pulled so no longer a cheap buy...
