Moto G6 Play - £89 with 1 month £15.50 Vodafone£104.50 from CPW (possible TCB)

This is for the Blue 32GB (+microSD) version of the Moto G6 PLAY phone.

Possible £35 TCB if they pay for a 1month contract phone purchase.

Phone is unlocked.
Very near stock Android.
Reported will get Android P.
Free next day delivery with CPW including weekends.

Comes with 1 month Vodafone contract:
Reports are that if you call VODAFONE and cancel the SIM card not mentioning you bought it through CPW, they should cancel.
People who have had trouble have either had to insert the SIM and call Vodafone and then have had it cancel.
Worst case is cancelling after the one month and paying the £15.50 making the phone a still amazing £104.50.

I can't find it now to thank the person on a previous thread who posted this was available with one month contract for £99 but it has not dropped another £10

This has dropped another £10 in the last 24hrs. I paid £99, so I'll be going in to collect mine and handing it straight back to them, for a refund. Quidco offer £50 cashback, for "all other monthly contracts". And when you take out this plan, it comes under "Pay Monthly", not Pay as you go or SIM only. So I would say you should qualify for the £50 cashback. Mine has initially tracked at £5. I'm going to have to stop using these cashback sites, as they never track correctly and, just leave you very disappointed.

This just a case of buying and then cancelling straight away?

Yep, the advice so far from previous threads:

1. Don't put the SIM in, call Vodafone and cancel without mentioning CPW as it muddies the water.

2. If that doesn't work, you can put in the SIM and call Vodafone and people have had it cancelled this way

3. Cancel and pay the one month contract if you meet trouble doing the above and want out!

ok, cheers
Decent phone for the price, a step up from the blade 7 deal and if cashback pays not much difference in price too.
Quidco only gave me £5
Vodafone will take the first £15.50 by DD, so don't cancel it unless you want a headache. They *should* then refund you in the second month, less any days line rental you've had
I had to give 30 days notice to cancel so phone them asap

But aren't you cancelling under the 14 day online/phone return policy??
Apparently if I cancelled the entire deal I had to give the handset back?
Is £50 quid a good price for one of these handsets used but in good condition, or would it be better to buy a brand new one from cpw.

my s6 got sea water in it on holiday so is this moto g6 a downgrade on my s6 or nearly as good,

please advise anyone who can help.

downgrade for camera, screen and general performance and a significant upgrade in terms of battery life vs s6.

You aren't cancelling the whole deal, just the airtime contract.

It's a big downgrade on a s6, though battery life likely much better and it is splash resistant...

I'd get the £50 one to see you through maybe.

Yeah I faffed around and I think the lady sold it on FB. but it was local and I could have viewed, she only bought it this year.
Top deal. I paid £129 up front plus £15.50 via CPW/Vodafone back in June. I did cancel the SIM but it took over a month to get my £15.50 back, I was told that I had to wait at least 30 days until after the first billing period to get the refund. No biggie.

Works on my phone still, maybe try a different browser?
Tried it on two browsers now, nothing coming up with an £89 upfront cost. I think i'm missing something here
I need this
cancelling the monthly contract will render this as pay as you go for Quidco i.e. £5

I get the same thing, try incognito mode and it should work.
doubt you can keep phone on cancelling as this may revert to sim free phone costs £149

There are previous threads with people having success. Worst it is legally a one month contract!
Got mine today. Lovely phone. Invoice states, "Minimum length of contract is 1 months" I can live with that. Saved just shy of 50 qiuid. It's an absolute bargain! Big thanks to grhm for posting the deal.
I love my new phone!?
Is this locked to Vodafone? Can you cancel and then unlock it after the first month? I'm sim only with EE with a great tarrif so don't want to stay with Vodafone.

You sure you've selected the correct deal?
Yes, it is a small note at the bottom of page where you put your personal details for the credit check.
I know the sim is only one month, so not sure why they have this small print note.
I tried cancelling under the 14 day rules a couple of times but couldn't get past their questions. I didn't mention cpw but said I got it from Vodafone (meaning the sim contract), they asked whether instore etc and when I said instore they said the store could do it under the 14 day rule but over the phone would be 30 days notice.

Third time, i rang back just to give 30 days notice, as morally that's fair and right anyway, not prepared to fight when I'm in the wrong. Without telling them, they knew I'd got it from cpw anyway.

What kind of confirmation should i expect saying that the 30 day clock has started ticking? Sms, email, or online account?
nice deal..
