android 10 coming to moto g7's soon.
Matching the cheapest price uts been iirc, ahve some heat @tyr
Parents have just bought the A20e from Vodafone, the G7 has a faster processor by the look of it, but less RAM a slightly smaller screen and NFC.

Didn't see this deal, but now don't have that decision to make.

For similar money I'd recommend buying a Google Pixel 2 refurb. Best camera on a smartphone, better spec and Android 10.
Great price. Not sure this is great for photos though, if that's important to you.

The battery could well be hammered though and this is what I'm finding with my Pixel 2 now, it needs charging 2 - 3 times a day.
Lenovo p2 was a great phone and at the time you could not do wrong, as it had everything you wanted in a phone, 5200mah battery, NFC, amoled display, everything since is just make do spec.
Bought one refurbished from Argos last year think it £65, had to change provider from EE to O2. No reception on EE.

I find it's a bit pot luck with Music Magpie but I've never had an issue returning free for a full refund.

Given batteries on Pixel series aren't great even new, why bother when it'll almost certainly be poor? Unless you fancy the post office staff?

Because cameras on smartphones are usually poor and that's where the Pixel 2 is really worth considering, even second hand. The quality of the photos will matter in 20 years whereas the number of times it required charging won't. There's more to phones than battery life and if it lasts a day then that's fine for me.

Edit: I've actually bought around 15 refurbished pixel 2's and returned about 3 for cosmetic reasons but only one because of battery life.

When your phone has run out of battery, it's really hard to take a picture of any quality.

Yes I thought that might be the reply! Every battery will run out of charge if you don't manage it properly and is a blurry, out of focus image worth having at all? Most Pixel 2 batteries will be fine for most people's use. If you really need unlimited battery life then get a modular LG G5 which allows the battery to be swapped out. A commercial failure though so phone battery life beyond a certain point is seemingly not that important after all.

It's entirely likely a used Pixel 2 will not last a full day which for many people is a minimum standard, as not everyone can get to a charger during the day. There are plenty of phones with a day and a bit or two day life. The Pixel 2 wasn't really new, and certainly won't be when it's had a lot of use. Google just don't seem to be able to get battery life right for some reason, although the -A phones are better thanks to a less hungry processor

Like I said, I've bought a good few and they last a day no problem.

The battery goes down quicker once you've turned them on
Is there any advantage to having this over the G7 Power? I like the extra battery life.of the power and it has come down to £99 before?
