I was digging on Google about that (in respect of Android 10). The best information I can find is an expected update in February next year.

It comes with Android Pie (9) out of the box however. Personally, I'm not all too bothered at the price point.

Agree I would not bother with updates with such cheap phone but moto z2 force was £799 on launch, this could upset someone

My G6 Plus game with Android 8 Oreo and was later updated to Android 9 Pie. I am also still constantly recieving security updates to this day. In fact I received an update a couple of days ago.
