Seems a lot for your money and with the ear buds on pre order a good deal

Yes, does seem good. Reviews are mostly positive. Like the pinhole selfie and the fact they went down the Samsung processor route.

Looks like a pretty fine budget device. I definitely do not need a new phone though....... So I ordered it
4,000 mAh batteries really should be the default these days for 6.0 + inch screens. But it's not a bad spec for the money

Android One updates save this from my usual 'Moto are absolutely trash in terms of updates'

But free headphones for pre order - we all love 'free' stuff

Thank you. Amazing. All that's great about the Moto G7 Plus and none of the drawbacks. I especially like the updates guaranteed for 3 years.
Android ONE and OK ish specs. Nice.
These earphones are £35 on ebay just so you know

Cool - mine will be £34.99
Thanks for the tip on this. Am starting to look around for a replacement in a few months' time, this ticks most of the boxes for me! Have some heat...

Hahahaha same for me, still rocking my very reliable G5+ and was considering moving on but blimey... This is the new Moto G, midrange wonder... Camera is up there and Android One is amazing... I was gonna jump ship but now... WOW did not heard this was coming out at all...

Updates by Google not Motorola which are guaranteed...
Looks very interesting! Tickets nearly all the boxes, but wonder if it will support EE wifi calling
Found a drawback though, fingerprint reader (moto actions, which is amazing) gonna be hard to use as it is on the back of phone but it has got a compass! Hallelujah!
Wear you to the ball
This or my s7 edge?
Was interested but this video has now made me change my mind:

(also shows night vision mode at 6mins into video)
This could well be the upgrade from my honor 8x that I'm looking for that doesn't break the 🏦

Why in particular?
48mp camera, is it the Samsung gm1 or the Sony?
bigwheels16/05/2019 19:48

only 256gb sd storage.GSM arena says 1TB sd storage.

If the handset takes a 256GB card it is SDXC rated.
If it is SDXC rated it will accept up to a 2TB card regardless of what the manufacturer says in their spec.
Would this be an upgrade from my LG V20?

Haha I am pleased you posted this. I was uncertain but think I may now order, I am colour blind and use the accessibility mode to change the colour anyway so if the only bad bit is slightly off colours on the screen then that makes no difference

Glad to have helped, I didn't post it to put people off... Instead the complete opposite to help them know what the phones like and what night vision camera mode was. Just overall it ain't doing it for me

It looks like a good phone but why would you like the fact they've used an Exynos? They are (near universally? universally?) inferior to the snapdragon equivalents (and less likely to be compatible with mods like the pixel camera app I think). This would appear to be the phone's weak side, not a positive - I can't see an upside to these SoCs.

Extremely unlikely.

Upgrade in what way? Better updates, but not much to choose in any other way, depending on how the camera performs.
