All hot meals cooked to order

At Moto, we are committed to keeping the country moving. Whilst we understand that many of our usual customers are staying at home, there’s one community of drivers who are relying on us now, more than ever: HGV drivers, you are working tirelessly to keep the country moving. At a time where many of us are spending more time with our families, you are spending more time on the roads, working longer hours to help the country fight COVID-19.

In order to keep our services running safely for you and our staff, we have had to reconsider what food outlets we can offer on-site. We have been listening to you, and we know how important a hot meal is. So, as a big thank you, from 8am Thursday 23rd April, we’re offering free hot food at a number of sites when you pay to park overnight with us. We’re launching 10 sites initially, and as soon as possible we’ll be adding more.

We’re offering you a choice of hot, ordered-on-site, breakfast, lunch or dinner.

They get night out money for it, but it doesn't cover the time your away …They get night out money for it, but it doesn't cover the time your away so many choose to park up else where and save the money as its not much but adds up over the week. They would be better off giving free parking to hgv let them rest and they would probably feel the need for a nice breakfast after a quick wash up

At these unprecedented times lorry drivers should get free parking and food as they are delivering supplies to keep us all going.

Service stations make enough money out of us all with over charged goods and fuel, the least they good do is offer free services to lorry drivers until this virus eventually blows over.
I stopped off at the medway service station as i was heading up the M62 to York a few weeks ago and pretty much everything was closed there apart from toilets and express like shop ,i hope they reopened most of it since then.

Welcomebreak is always giving £10 pound voucher to all HGV drivers which they can use at any of their food outlets.
It's hardly free when they have probably paid over inflated prices to park there in the first place.

Nothing is free this days....
You need to pay for parking £30.
This is a good deal, as a Class 1 driver I can tell you anything is appreciated regarding food as a lot of options that drivers relied on such as pubs, cafes and restaurants are shut. Sometimes the last thing you want to do is to cook a full meal after up to 15 hours working. More annoying when your fridge or cooker/microwave plays up!

Drivers claim the parking back as an expense, meals aren't always included. Tonne for tonne it's actually cheap!
The night out money (tax free payment) should be on top of the cost of parking (expenses), but it depends on the company. Some won't pay both which is outrageous when you're basically a security guard for the companys' truck and goods.
Worse if you're overnight in a layby with no facilities at all.
Only thing I use in Moto services is the toilets. They're charging £6 for a Whopper with Cheese, no onions, no fries. Robbing gits. Welcome Break services with a McDonalds, on the other hand, serve me three cheeseburgers (or two cheeseburgers and an apple pie) for less than three quid. Mind you, since I've been driving an artic I tend to use motorway services far less than I did when driving a rigid.
Parking and food should be free if they are carrying out logistics on behalf of the NHS!

Which most drivers get given anyways?
Just when you think MOTO/ Welcome Break et al don't have a heart you realise...... they don't! These companies are always being dragged kicking and screaming into modern times, whilst offering rubbish service at inflated prices, and in times when drivers (delevering essential supplies) may need a little more help than usual, they prove to be tone deaf.

this is not a deal, this is careful marketing by a company that has long overcharged for HGV parking. If you are paying £30 to park in (largely) empty car park you aren't getting anything for free.
