Saw the 1581 was on. This one is cheaper but is it a better deal? I know nothing about phones, perhaps someone more informed can advise me.

Reasonable price if delivery and customer service from HK floats your boat, and any import fees should be covered by the seller according to its t&c.

Just bought a Motorola G plus for the missus. Used the Motorola store UK but of course they are located elsewhere. Great reviews so should be ok. However eGlobal is not one to go with. Do some research. They exist on the net only. No offices no nothing and dreadful customer support bordering on zero. Look at their reviews online. Looks like they match you to a product that you are looking for and get their slice in the process. Lots of reviews state they do not reply when there is a problem with the product or transaction. Look them up on Trustpilot :-

"Bad company

I ordered of these a watch in December no correspondence... Sent emails no answers put my order number in not found... Disputed with pay pal as herd nothing, received nothing, got my money back in full through pay pal.... a sham of a company I have ordered from overseas before never had a problem like this avoid at all costs

The positive reviews smell of self promotion.

I made a warranty claim with them just 20 days before it expired and to my surprise they gave me a UK address to post the phone back. Didn't go through the process as LG kindly picked it up from my place but that seemed like a good support to me.

You were lucky, I don't think that happens with all makes of phones, I suspect Moto UK won't honour this phone's warranty.

Motorola's customer 'service' stinks. I know this is sold by a third party retailer but it's hard to imagine their customer service would be worse. If it's a good deal then I would advise anyone who wants to buy to use a credit card. If they do and the retailer won't deal with any problems then they can claim for a refund from their credit card provider under Section. 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.

I was superlucky with LG actually as they also updated my model to European. But I was trying to make a different point, eglobal didn't ask me to send it to China rather they had a repair centre in the UK.

I read somewhere that certain Asian variants of these are stuck on lollipop and the Moto voice only works with Chinese commands.

Might be worth checking first if these things are important

the 1580 seems to be the European model.its on eBay to for 218 same company.shipped from France.from what I read it's due nougat any day now.seems a bit of a bargain to me.had three phones now off eglobal.over last couple year.paypal and eBay is all security you need.its basically a z.play on sustanon 250

Hi, would you link me to that please?

Just received mine after 6days wait. Ordered via the eBay site with PayPal. Address suggests this came from french site and not HK. UK plug on charger. So far everything's seems fine and phone is perfect for my use. I have had Motorola phones before and never had any trouble but this is my first "Lenovo" version. Fingers crossed.
