How thick?!?!

How thick?!?!

EDIT: just to clarify, the phone not the OP.

Am really tempted with this and even designed a 64gb one (as the 32gb is unavailable) with a free upgrade to leather back for £274.01 in total (using both codes), but really have to hang onto my Galaxy S5 (mainly because of money and also this will not support Three's VoLTE (SuperVoice) and 800mhz (band 20) 4G data (even though the phone supports band 20 there are only certain phones with Three's own firmware that support it).

Another niggling thing is that I don't think it has NFC (not that I use it that much, but handy for Android Pay if I ever get caught short without my bank card as I rarely sometimes do).

So thanks anywasy for posting as it's a great deal, but afraid I'll have to hold off.

It does

Mine heated up whilst using and it's also impossible to use single handed (unlike s7 edge inspite of screen size.) Returned.

Shame it is only single sim , I thought most Motorola / Google phones are dual sim ?!??!

what do people thing is better, this or Moto g4 plus 64gb?

joshm

It does

Ok - thanks for that.

I did not see it listed and I'm sure there was something missing from this phone when I looked at it a while ago (it may have been that it did not have a removable battery, but you can't win them all).

Dont forget your UKWELCOME10 code, takes it down to £239!

The moto x style has better processor, graphics, screen resolution and camera, and is a more premium phone.

It's because it uses the curved palm design, similar to the Moto G 3rd. It's thinner at the edges than it is in the middle, which means it feels better in the hand, unlike the completely flat Moto G4, which I struggled to hold without feeling like it was about to drop on the floor.

any unidays codes knocking about anywhere?

Nice phone. £239 with codes. Lovely bright and sharp screen. Great stereo speakers, fast charge, almost stock android.
Battery life not fantastic, but made much better by marshmallow.
No fingerprint scanner (but personally, I find those a bit annoying sometimes)
Leather or wood back included and moto maker to personalise (to avoid having just another generic leather or glass slab.
Motorola phones are great for signal strength as well in my opinion too.

Nano coating is a bonus.

It's not right for everybody, but it's a lot of phone for the money - heat added

I decided to get this as it seems pretty good for the money. I got the 64GB version as the black front has sold out in the 32Gb. The extra storage might help seeing as this has such a good camera. I also got the free premium leather back which looked good in the picture lets hope so. It came to £274.01 and they said I would get it on the 5th December.

This vs the honor 8?

Best phone I ever had, have some heat.

Tempted but think I'll go with the oneplus3 as coming from the Nexus 5 this doesn't feel like a huge upgrade. Lovely phone though

Hot.

It's big so it's not for everyone - the 5.7" screen means it's not something you can really use one handed, but it's a great phone with the best screen I've ever had (beats the galaxy note 4 hands down). Very fast, almost stock android and has NFC.

If you like big phones you can't go wrong with this, especially for £250.

Another that can vouch for this phone. Well worth this money. Lovely bright screen on 15%/20 brightness.

Just Wondering

Many are not dual SIM, the Moto G4Plus is, if you buy it from Motorola direct. The higher spec models like the X and Z and generally single SIM in the UK. (The European versions may be dual SIM)
Also Moto are now owned by Lenovo these days.

I had one of these for almost a phone. GREAT value phone. I really loved some of the Motorola features such as waving your hand above the phone to see notifications. I used this all the time! Good battery, camera, features and speakers. I bought one for £279 so this is a cracking price.

One drawback, you couldn't reduce the quality of your photos which caused me a problem when wanting to send lots of photos in an email (I couldn't).

I since lost it and went for a Nexus instead, but I really recommend this phone.

Consider using the free email app, TypeApp, it offers to reduce photo sizes in emails when sending

Now £259 not £239 using codes

I know exactly what you mean with that, having gone from a 3rd gen to a G4 Play - it just doesn't feel secure in my hand any more due to the Play being flat backed, rather than the slight curve of the 3rd gen.

This phone is great. have had it for 8 months. no lag, fast, charges quickly and lasts a long time. great screen. at this price its a steal.

Looks like ukcrm161 no longer working, anybody aware of any others - hoping to try and get one of these over xmas.

Thanks in advance.
