Had no idea this came out. Looks decent for the money

The spec seems conflicting

Shame it's not the Android One edition...I would sooner go for Mi A1 for half the price, with pretty similar spec. SD625, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage etc. Just missing IP68 and probably a slightly worse camera. At least you are guaranteed 2 years of updates, same can't be said for motorola now that Lenovo own them.

Looks really good, thanks for posting heat added!

Phone looks good. Understand it's more money but a Nokia 8 at £359 would be where my money would go at this price range.

Can it do VR?

It looks like the UK version has 32GB and 3GB RAM (rather than the 64GB, 4GB RAM stated above).

Is it just me or does this not seem like a big step up from the Moto G5 plus which has the same ram and memory and slightly slower processor for only £199?

(I'm not trolling btw, I'm about to buy a new Moto so genuinely asking).

Your looking at just the specs. Your forgetting the waterproofing, the higher quality screen (not looking at just the resolution) much better cameras and added Alexa. Also usb-C turbo charging.

I wonder if it has a proper compass?

Shame it isn't dual SIM as well... oh well.

Nice phone. I used to be a big moto fan. But they aren't as good a value as they used to. And Lenovo can't be trusted for updates or support. Will see how the "new" Nokia fares in those departments.

I think you are right, does not seem like a big step up, i was about to buy the £259 G5s plus for my son from John Lewis for £259 but they no longer deliver to n.ireland which is bizarre so was considering this for £30 more but can see no real benefit, back to the drawing board

Missing from specs, Motorola do not like seem to include a compass in a lot of their phones recently.
