Here is a quick run through - you have the choice of 4 days (7th-10th july) both morning and evening booking slots available, its at Upavon, Wiltshire, SN9 6EF. Professional trainers/riders will teach you how to ride the bikes then your let loose on the track for a few hours, all the major manufactures are there and it seams you can try any of their bikes.

Bike, fuel, all equipment is all provided for your £30

Normally these off road experience days cost £150+ for the day.

I'm booked for the 9th july 14:00 so hopefully see some of you's there !

This year the Motorcycle Off-Road Experience (MORE) will be held over four days - Tuesday 7th July to Friday 10th July - at Upavon, Wiltshire. Morning and afternoon sessions will include plenty of on bike action, courtesy of the leading manufacturers - Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki and Yamaha - along with the top training schools in the business.

Thousands of people up and down the UK are involved in off-road motorcycling and now it's your chance to have a go!

What can our 400 riders expect?:

    went on something like this on holiday, pretended I hadn't been riding crossers for 20+ years and "accidentally" rode off extremely fast shouting help how do I turn it off

    Just a heads up, I missed out on this as it was fully booked but added myself to the waiting list.

    Earlier had an email asking me what days I was interested in which I replied to and then had a phone call quite soon after offering me a space on the day I wanted.

    I tried motocross on a holiday in my teens, ended up crashing in to the ladies changing room on a camping site. This was one time I was glad there's no reverse gear on a motorbike.

    Nope - says so on the registration page. No license needed at all as it's private grounds.

    No bike licence required at all I believe, it mentions something on the terms and conditions page.

    Went to the event this morning. Really great time, first time riding a motorbike and picked it up really quickly, only fell off once! I was with the KTM team who have some electric bikes which are well worth trying. Great instruction by the guys there.

    Did this a couple of years ago. It starts off fairly tame on flat area to practice basic skills but soon you get onto the offroad track and have great fun racing round. Really good value way to try motocross.

    Your welcome, I remember seeing the advert for this on MCN around a month ago and thought what a fantastic experience and thought I would share the good times. There are 4 of us now on the Thursday 2pm slot, look out for a tallish, slim, pale lad with a manc accent that wears glasses as that will be me ha.

    crap. when filling out the forms I clicked that I have had previous experience in motocross (once as a 12 year old) to which I was told they are trying to attract new people to the sport so FYI when filling out the form

    Ahh sorry matey we booked the 10am slot... 2pm seemed a bit late cuz you get there and half the day's gone already.. I feel old now. Might catch you lot there if we stick around... or maybe we'll sign up for the 2pm slot as well and get 2 go's in :P
