Motor Depot - Huge Savings On Brand New Chevrolets from

Found 15th Jan 2014
I'm in the market for a new car and came across this deal at the Motor Depot.

They're heavily discounting all their brand new Chevrolets. It says brand new and the reg on each car is not set so I don't believe they're pre-registered.

List below, I think I got them all so apologies if I've missed any out. The prices below are for the cheapest for each model, I've noticed some are more expensive based on the colour.

Spark 1.0 LS £5490
Spark 1.0 LS A/C £5590
Spark 1.2 LT £6290

Cruze 1.6 LS Hatchback £7690
Cruze 1.6 LS Estate £7990
Cruze 1.6 LT Hatchback £8790
Cruze 1.6 LT Estate £9490
Cruze 1.7 Diesel LS Hatchback £10490
Cruze 1.7 Diesel LT Estate Stop/Start £10990

Orlando 2.0 Diesel LT Stop/Start £11990
Orlando 2.0 Diesel LTZ Stop/Start £12990

Trax 1.6 LT Stop/Start £12590

Captiva 2.2 Diesel LT Stop/Start £15990
Captiva 2.2 Diesel LT Stop/Start Auto £16990

IMO the best deal is the Cruze Estate which is not more than the Dacia Logan, about the same size but much more kit.

Shame there's nothing discounted on the Camaro!

Try their website as they have discounts on all the fleet.

Seems like a nice deal if you never want to sell it in future, and just keep it until it dies.

Agreed, good deal if you keep it long term

Chevrolet are getting ready to pull out of the UK, be warned

stick too ford.....

Hold out and keep your money in your pocket. I suspect there will be many more deals to come on pre-registered Chevrolet's over the coming weeks. Before buying make sure you are the first name on the log book (and get it confirmed in writing before signing for anything such as finance etc), as Motorpoint might be selling these cars as "Used/Pre-Registered", something that could affect residual values even more when Chevvy pull out of the UK and also check direct on the Chevrolet website at their offers section.

Is there an option to buy it straight out rather than the never never?

Yes we have full Main dealer facilities. You can buy however you wish, whether that is on finance (HP or PCP) or cash, with or without a part exchange.

If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call on 01482 585058 or I am happy to communicate on here.

Best Regards
Ashley

Are they new (your customer being the first name in the log book) or are they used?

Yes they are unregistered and the customers name will be the first one in the log book.

Excellent deal, and excellent value or money.

The best deal IMO is the Cruze, which is a little more than a re-bagged Vauxhall Astra.

Seriously tempted by the Cruze.

The bigger question remains, why didn't GM / Chevrolet not sell there cars originally at the bargain end of the market? Why on earth they tried to compete with the mainstream was sheer madness.

For me only German cars.

tbh, I'm a tad concerned at the feedback of this company as I was seriously considering -

Only 81% for service. Sales staff are great unsurprisingly.

More, 3.5/5 -

A real shame.

Think they are good prices if you are going to keep the motor for a few years but the resale value will go through the floor when they pull out of the UK. Its a shame, even though they are re-badged Vauxhalls the Chevvy's look a lot better.

Can you pay the deposit on credit card? The finance ant outstanding?

It will do now you've conveniently bumped it.

Avoid ford...they're shat too

Better off not taking too much notice of reviews, I'm sure a lot of competitors stick their bits on there. We all know car dealers are a funny sort but go an look them in the eye and judge for yourself. Like any dealers, if they sell you a dodgy car and won't play fair, which I would always give the benefit of the doubt, then drive your car into the middle of the showroom on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon when they are at their busiest making deals.

I find the worst dealers are the main franchised ones. They may hide behind the manufacturers name but they are no better than the dodgy bloke who buys form the auction, washes the car and sticks it on the side of the road with a £1k mark up.

Like VW which are unreliable?
Do you know in Germany VW are considered below the likes of Ford?
Or do you mean Audi which is no more than a re-bagged VW sharing all the same problems with the time belt tensioner failures, DSG automatics packing in, etc?
Or do you mean the BMW with all their timing chain problems with new engines required as little as 3 years old?

Go on the Honest John forum and say you only buy German cars.
Prepare to be humiliated.

Agree.
You can have it service while under warranty at any Vauxhall dealer.
You are buying a brand new under warranty; once you have purchased the car you never have to go back to the selling dealer ever again.

Wonder who got all the Captiva LS deals. I want one of those. £12k Brand new.

Still you will see more and more German cars on the roads...Benz, Audi, BMW, VW and the biggest Porsche have ruled mass premium segment and don't see any other taking over anytime soon.
Given Seat, Skoda are part of VW Group, people would still pay premium for the badge..These cars carry huge brand equity..

Was very interested in the Cruze 1.7 Diesel LT Estate Stop/Start for £10990 but only white left on website showing at £11990.

I can maybe see Jag catching up on Porsche sales in 5 years or so.
2013 sales
Porsche 162,000 up 15%
Jaguar 80,000 up 42%

Anyone know what warranty these come with? It used to be 5 but looks like 3 according to the site.

3 years, they dropped the 5 year warranty some time ago.

Interesting reading;

Chevrolet cars will not be cared for by Opel / Vauxhall dealers ..

chevrolet.co.uk/own…tml

One of the reasons you will see more German cars is because they have an artificially deflated currency, therefore are £10k cheaper than they should be, which the smaller countries in the EU are paying dearly for.

Certainly, after all over £25K off Jag's list price would attract many..

Pretty sure they don't knock £25k off all their models.

BTW you can pick up an Audi massively reduced too, it's not just Jags that are bargains.

Have a Cruze (Saloon) purchased 3 years ago when Chevrolet were having their Xmas sale. £9999 with 5 year warranty
I love it! There's only one other Cruze around my way, we're on nodding terms, sad I know.
No problems so far, just flew through 1st MOT.

Also own Spark, 1l, which has also been great so far. Hoping DS will take it over to learn to drive in when he's 17 - Lowest group insurance

ordered the orlando ltz from them this morning - great price!
