Motorcycle helmet that wont break the bank at all, get a nice looking cheap helmet for only £29.99.

I know this is Aldi but the helmet is completely safe and up to all health and safety standards, you would expect from a more expensive helmet.
This is great for people just starting out into the motorcycle world or just people on a budget.

Personally i value my head a little more than this... some people spend more than this on a protective cover for their phone!

I value my head also, but this is still decent for inexperienced riders who may fall off in there first few weeks and have to replace the helmet.

Theres already a deal up for the motorcycle gear in Aldi.

Surely if they are more likely to fall off then there is more reason for them to buy a decent helmet to protect them. Are you some fascist car driver trying to wipe out young inexperienced bikers... oO

crap lid
seasoned biker meself and if you fall off you fall off
with a crap lid you may get seriously hurt
with a good lid its an expensive lesson but you may get get off better...................

This helmet had to pass all the EU testing, the more expensive helmets only differ in design, safety is not a factor. And a car has too many wheels for me.

Had a try of these, found it uncomfortable, very plasticy yes the pass the eu test hence the introduction of the sharp test to show how much damage your Mellon would take. After looking at this helmet I would only suggest for the 30mph scooter squad.

I had a look at these also. Feel very cheap, outside and in. Would be very uncomfortable to wear long distances / at high speeds due to wind noise. It's a bold statement, but I would sooner buy a second hand arai or shoei off ebay if I needed a new helmet than buy this.

Could be tempting to moped riders - agreed. I wouldn;t bother, personally.

I don't think is designed for anything more, that a 30 mph scoot, its never going to compare to a good quality arai or shoei helmet, you get what you pay for, this helmet will suit some people others it will not. A 16 year old just passed their CBT will love it.

For a bargin lid go on eBay and find a seller -ghostbikes there based in preston but offer quality new lids for bargin prices. £30 all year round.

And as far as you get what you pay for look at Dre beats as an example of paying for the name.....

My mate fell off and got a blood clot on his brain which killed him a day later despite all the medical help. He was wearing a good helmet and he came off in slow London traffic between two London cabs at 15 mph. If its your time to go etc etc........................#RIPPeter

"...the helmet is completely safe and up to all health and safety standards..."

Even Aldi's copy writers would run a mile from that statement!

Whilst I agree it's not the greatest helmet and you get what you pay for, this will be good for pootling about at 30-40 on your 125/moped/scooter or doing a CBT, before commiting your hard earned cash on better bike gear. I dare say this is just as good as most £60 basic helmets. The best gear isn't going to protect you from a bad situation, but it may give you a better edge, but it doesn't mean the cheap stuff is useless or dangerous..

It might be cheap but it saved my life and i', a seasoned biker . it didnt split or crack.

I can say in all honesty April 7th this year got hit head on by a car at 40mph. Was wearing an Aldi helmet it held up well as I went over the car hit the tarmac and the helmet hit the kerb with my head still in it. luckily I walked away, it goes to show there not all that bad a lid.
