The new Motorola Atrix is now showing on Orange.co.uk (not sure if its actually launched tho)
I was looking at the various contracts and found this one which I thought was quite reasonable for a light user of calls.

Don't forget £80 cashback from Quidco/TCB

It's a good deal but I can't find it on their site at present - currently being updated perhaps?

Which bit cant you find: the plan or the phone?
if you cant find the phone check to see if any of the features tick boxes are choosen I found that hides the atrix some times. also check your basket the link in this deal adds one for you automatically and it might be a one per person limit

if you can find the phone under pay monthly phones and get to the choosing a plan stage by default you see "favourite" plans choose all plans
look for dolphin 25 which will be a 24m contract just below the box with that contracts details is a small link saying see 18 month plan

Nice... I heard a rumour the android OS is nice and vanilla rather than messed around with by idiot vendors - anyone had a hands on to verify that?

I've just got mine delivered... I did an upgrade deal and managed to get it for £9.99 on dolphin 20 (£20) on a 24 month contract!! Think I might need to add more data but that should be it hopefully!

I was pretty impressed the the work and play kit (free if you're an upgrader) I thought it was just the multimedia dock but I got the bluetooth keyboard and mouse too, yay!!

Be interested to see how you get on with it. My Orange contract (HTC Desire) is up soonish and I'm looking at the next great thing.....
Moto Atrix
Samsung Galaxy S2 or
HTC Sensation
Dual core galore

Same 3 I'm procrastinating over.... I nearly ordered an S2 but I don't really like it cosmetically (seems to be trying too hard to make the UI look a bit 'iPhone-ish' which I don't really like) so might wait to see them all physically...

Well so far after 20 hours Im pretty impressed, had a good play with the webtop OS lst night which was pretty slick.. wouldbe nice if you could install a few extra programs on there but Im sure xda are working on it Fingerprint scanner is pretty useful, I thought it would be a bit of a gimmick but actually turns out to be great if you want to unlock easily with one hand... havent add my work exchange server yet so not sure if that will re-enforce the PIN though.

Other thoughts.. Camera is pretty crisp, 720p looks pretty good (for a phone!) nice screen, ridiculously fast.. got 2500 on quadrant! My first motorola android and so far I like it... I heard some bad things about the motoblur but so far I havent found it to be a problem, certainly the slickest android phone I've played with and a few nice features to boot!

Nice one. Thanks for the info Mercury.
One last question. How did you get the deal for £9.99 & £20pm? Did you do the 'threaten to leave' thing?

Nope I did it upgrade on the website... it asked if I wanted to add a loyalty pack (magic numbers) or change my tariff... I could have gone lower but that suits my needs. I was expecting a call from orange to say they screwed up but apparently not! Phone was showing oos on the main site but upgrade it let me through! Best deal ever!

Back in stock today

Ordered through the upgrade/cancellations line and got a great deal (will tell you what it is but it'll be specific to individuals so don't expect to get the same):

£29 for phone

£20 per month for 600 mins, unlim texts and 1gb data (plus all the free kit that comes with this promotion).

Am well pleased with that deal - thanks OP!!

Edit: Should add that's a 24 month contract
Edited by: "Cezza" 6th May 2011

Called through to their upgrade department today and they wouldn't budge from £35/24 months, so much for loyalty....... Gits!
