I checked with Asda in Charlton. The manager at cust services said that the online stores are different from local stores. Thats why the items cannot be even returned instore if bought thru asdadirect. Hence the answer to your question is no.

[SIZE="2"]...sure... but bit I think what we'd like clarified is whether you can get the online price in store regardless of whether you can or cannot return to a local store ...i.e. is the phone £9 in store??
thanks

Judging by what deal_grabber said and how it works with the online sections of other high street stores I'd say no. It's the same with HMV. Prices for goods are cheaper online and goods cannot be returned in store. It's because they are basically run by two different companies.

Was going to get these - however found they had terrible reviews. Still the price is cheaper than comet!!

From the ASDA direct customer service page....

ASDA direct items like this phone can't be returned to local stores because the online branch of the business is a separate entity.

thanks, the single handset is out of stock but bought the pair for £21
