Silly price here for this to be fair, and if the cashback pays out, you *could* get it for £59.

First of all, go through either tcb or Quidco to earn £35-£50 cashback on this deal, taking total cost of this phone down to £74 or £59 if you get the £50 (obviously not guaranteed)

Still a great price even if the cashback doesn't pay out, obviously a bonus if it does.

Cancel the sim within the first 14 days by ringing the network, not cpw, the network, and telling them you want to cease your contract.

If they refuse, then live chat them, if they refuse then ring them back, they have to let you cancel.

These deals have been posted umpteen times in the past, and have proven they work, as @jazzuk777 Or @Harefoot t or @WajAllRound can prove to name but a few.

Thanks for reading, good luck, and God bless

I've done it once in February on the 1 month and won't do it again for another few months. Did you read the full thread?

You make the rules up as you go along to suit your ego.

This quite simply isn't a deal for a number of reasons. Cashback isn't guaranteed, you are blatantly attempting to scam the cashback sites by claiming for a purchase that you have every intention from the outset to cancel.

The more people that do this, then cashback sites will get stricter and start taking longer to pay out in order to ensure that contracts aren't cancelled leaving them having paid out on something that they themselves will not be paid on. End result is every honest customer will lose out.

If your going to post a deal, at least post a genuine deal, such as the JL one for the Honor 9. Most of your deals (not really deals at all) are either this type scamming cashback sites or trying to evade customs duties.

Quality over quantity wins every time.

I'm not getting into another pointless argument with someone who I don't even know.

You just need to chill out, it's just a deals website.

Fyi, I've helped a lot of people on this site, all be it with deals, answering questions, or the umpteen pm's I get everyday.

If there's a loophole then it will inevitably get closed up eventually. Do you also go on the threads when there's a glitch and shout at people telling them not to take up this deal because the tesco shareholders etc will lose out or the artists wont get the same revenue from spotify?

I think you may well be on the wrong site. If it came to a straight choice as to who contributes the most to this site, would it be the OP or yourself? If you don't think these are good deals then vote cold. If you really want to do something constructive, then find something similar or better that meets "your criteria", but don't just come on and whinge.

cant remember! was the one where the guy was going on about how he didn't care about getting a mortgage etc
Can't figure how to get to page via Quidco or Topcashback, seems to show only pay monthly with low upfront costs but longer contracts

so the risk is the risk of refusal?

I'll keep far away from Moto from now on aas the ghost touch was so frustrating on G4. I should shout out loudly to help others as Moto didn't release any info on this issue. It might happen again on G6.

That's not the point, you were slating the exact same deals due to being credit checked and the potential for damaging people's credit chances.

You need to stop posting all your non deals.

The twelve month contracts offer a tiny upfront cost, and so cpw will realise at some point in time, that people are exploiting the loophole, and close it at anytime, and there's a risk they may chase you for the extra money.

There's a lower risk with the 30 day, as there is a higher upfront cost.

man you are a slippery customer

The twelve month are just that, twelve month contracts. Whereby cpw are giving you a massively reduced upfront cost, in order for you to stick with the twelve months, thereby making money from you.

They are perfectly within their rights to chase you for more, if Vodafone tell them that the buyer has cancelled the sim, and they won't be paying out any commission.

but surely this one is also subsidised?

Is it still the case that all CPW phones are unlocked? Only the Voda one is cheap, but I'm on EE. Do they still stick a load of Vodafone bloatware on that is almost impossible to get off, unless rooted?

Yes, it is just a stupid loop hole that they haven't fixed, I agree that this one is subsidised too, but this one is also £20 more expensive than the equivalent 12month deal.

As you go up the phone specs, the prices get wider, for example the huawei mate 10 pro on a 30 day is £359, but on a 12 month it is £299, there's a big profit difference there.

Look, if you want to do the 12 month, then I'm not gonna stop you. I'm just simply not posting those particular deals any more

You don't pay a monthly cost if you cancel in the first 14 days, with regards to your other question in the other thread about cashback, when I done it, I cancelled the sim straight away, the first day I got it In fact, didn't even open the sim, simply rang Vodafone, told them I wanted to cease my contract, gave them the number from the sim, then 2 weeks later my cashback confirmed, then two weeks later again, it was confirmed payable.

This was through topcashback, so your best option is probably with them, but I think there's is only £35 as opposed to Quidco £50.
TCB don't pay out on these anymore. It will initially track and then go to 0. I was refused on Samsung J3 deal.
I suppose the question is whether this is a good deal for £125. Because the Quid could may not pay and the first month DD may get drawn (highly likely).

I don't know the phone to be able to say if it's a good deal at £125. The old Moto G phones had a fantastic reputation.

Maybe now, the Honor from John Lewis, with 2 years guarantee, is worth the extra 25 quid.

Sure someone will say!

However like I said, cashback is not always guaranteed.

That mate 10 pro surely has to be right up there as the best premium midranger pushing up to flagships I’ve pretty much ever seen. Camera is solid on it and pretty much everything else barring physical dimensions.
