According to comments on the other now expired deal for the refurbished one at o2, Argos ones at £99odd have been out of stock for months! This becomes apparent at Argos checkout.

It's been cheaper in the past. If you can't find this phone cheaper anywhere else it's because most of other sellers managed to sell off this oldish device. It's successor, Moto G30 can be bought for £139 with double amount of storage, longer support and ultra wide lens onboard. Alternatively, you can buy Redmi Note 10 5G or Realme 8 5G, which offer better performance and 5G support.

hadn't been in stock at Argos since November. I know because I was checking daily at Argos from beginning of November to end of December, before finally giving up and getting the refurb from O2

Are you happy with it? Did it come almost brand new? Just curious.

Yes, it was spotless. And it's a nice smooth, easy to use phone. I'm surprised how quickly I got used to it as it's bigger than I usually prefer but I'm really happy with it. (I did have a Ulefone Armor before though so this is a big step up in terms of smoothness as that was really on it's way out). I think that new it comes with some accessories though and this just came with a charging cable. I'm not 100% sure that the battery is quite as long lasting as claimed but I need to keep a better check of what I'm doing. I might have just been using it quite heavily initially. Overall, for the price, I would say well worth getting.

Glad to hear you are happy with it. Possibly new, customer return within 14 days. Anyway most phones have stopped supplying chargers with them. Battery 'drainage' could be figment of imagination! Almost all of us feel that way whatever phone we have.

Yes... I'm aware of that. It's just it was touted as 2 days and it's not really 2 days IMO. It was fully charged this morning at about 7am and I've had it running a sonic rodent repellent from you tube all day over wifi, but not used it for anything else. It's now at 19% battery, which is a little lower than I expected. Perhaps it's app usage even though I've not been actively using them.

They say applications like Accubattery etc cannot help to 'repair' batteries but try this, it might help

thanks, I'll have a look at it. I might be wrong. like I said it might be apps running in the background / notifications etc. I'll double check all my settings too. With energy bills going up so much I wanted to charge my phone off a solar charger, but at this rate that's not happening.

Anyone know a working promo code for checkout ?

Buying a £450 handset , would great to get some dismount on it, use to be a £20 checkout code, stopped working recently.

How about student discounts or cashBack if no codes anymore ?

    It’s a handset with contract.

    Do share with everyone please

    Thank you
