Ive been looking for a decent enough deal for a Nexus 6 for a while. All contracts with reasonable data use seem to be around the £40 mark - personally I'm a high data user, so 10gb suits me, but there are other deals with auto cashback on the same site which are also eligible for the £42 cash back.

Motorola Google Nexus 6 32gb
On EE Double Speed 4G
Unlimited Mins
Unlimited Texts
10gb Data

No upfront cost
£65 auto cashback - £65.00 will be credited directly into your bank account 90 days from connection. There is no need to claim and they will email you to let you know when the money is on its way.

£42 potential cashback via topcashback.

With the cashback this works out as £39.51 per month.

All those voting cold, find me a better contract deal and i will order it now.

The deal itself may well be good, but it is the fact that it is a Google phone that folk are voting cold on.

Always been good value for money, Nexus 6 is crazy money. Oh, will it also have EE's spyware that is totally unremovable even with a new ROM?

What is this spyware you are talking about?

The rom is the same on all the nexus 6s, sort of:
technobuffalo.com/201…re/

The phone actually downloads the bloatware itself. This is a good thing as it's easily removed by the user, without needing root etc.

Also means timely updates that carriers don't get in the way of, in theory.

Eh

I paid £550 for my Galaxy Nexus when it was released how is that a "cheap" phone
Just updated it to an N6 (£500)

That being said paying a £1000 for two years of phone usage is bloody crazy. Buy the N6 offline and get a 3GB Sim for a £10 /month. Job done.

BTW the phone is massive, made my hand hurt for the first few days and im a big guy. Getting used to it now.

Nexus 4 and 5 were not that price.

Nexus 4 and 5 were not that price, however this is a different animal. Specs vs the Samsung galaxy note 4 are very favorable and yet its cheaper than that still by a decent amount.

I currently own a Note 3, so the although this is bigger, it's not that much different.

3gb is not enough for me, minimum I use each month is 5gb - I currently have a three sim at £15pm for unlimited data on a rolling 30 day contract but since moving to three, I notice my signal is not as good as it was with EE and it therefore has had an adverse impact on battery life.

If you look at it another way, with the cashback, this deal works out as £948.76, so minus £500 for the phone, you're left paying the equivalent of £18.70 a month for the contract. I almost guarantee if EE did a 10gb data sim for £18.70 a month, this would be flaming hot.
