This offer works by cashback which you claim from Phones4U at four specified intervals during the contract, with a generous 60 days to send in your claim. If you wish you can purchase via QuidCo.com who will give you a whopping £50 in extra cashback, meaning that you are making a PROFIT of £50 on the whole thing!! Remember to cancel the insurance if you don't want it as it's quite expensive at £9.99 per month! Also, if you don't need it, then cancel the itemised billing with Orange which is charged at £1.50 per month. As usual, send claims recorded/special delivery as soon as you get the bill and you'll be fine. Phones4U are a reputable high street retailer who are reliable for cashback.

Sounds good.

However are you allowed to port your number across? For example from O2 to Orange?

Original Poster

Yes. Porting to Orange is OK with Phones4U. You will, however, need a PAC code from o2.

I'd like to note that this offer is likely to end EARLY TOMORROW.

"We currently only support number porting when transferring to T-mobile, Orange, Three, Virgin and BT Mobile, but not Vodafone or O2.

To keep your existing mobile phone number all you need to do is follow these simple steps:

1) Place your order on our website

2) Contact your existing network provider to request your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code)

3) Contact your new network provider on the appropriate number below and quote your temporary number (the number your new phone is registered to), your existing number that you want to keep and the PAC."

It's also often a good idea to send in bill 1 with your first claim as that often shows the original number, which is probably what Phones4U will have on record.

Duck.

Really so soon? :?

I already have my PAC I just need to get a decent contract. The number of minutes and texts sounds fine and I don't want to pay line rental if I can avoid it. :-D

If I order I presume I can return it within some days. Can't really knock such a great deal but as I'm being extra fussy a nicer phone would have been good.

Thanks for the info - will have a think.

Is there any easy way of searching for these FREE line rental deals on Phones4U? A search doesn't find them. Would you need to go through each and every deal?

does anyone know if these deals with better phones are likely to return at phones4u. i missed out on the d900i twice lol

Thanks Ronak

Still seems to be available!!

Although its a good deal I think people want a better phone. I'm going to wait until next weekend. I just hope there's a non-Vodaphone deal because your number can't be ported across and ofcourse non-O2 because thats what I'm already on.

YIKES not only has this deal disappeared. Orange are no longer on the Phones4U website! :w00t:

hey i got this deal earlier on in the day b4 it disappeared! i now can't find the info on which bills to send for the cashback, can neone help? thanks!

Deal information is back on Phones4U. Dont know why they removed all the Orange stuff.

What happened?

i phoned up and they told me they had cancelled my order...apparently for wrong bank details...but i double checked before submitting my info. Then they tried to force me into going for a vodaphone deal...even tho apparently my bank details cant be verified...very dodgey...

My existing Orange contract ends in like 60 days. Is it possible for me to get this deal, and then transfer my existing number onto this new contract after my existing contract ends?
