Best price I can find for this phone on the orange network.
If you are on o2 you can get it even cheaper at phones4u, but for those of you who can't be bothered to change networks and enjoy being on orange this deal's for you.

The price is £139.95, which also includes the necessary £10 of airtime. You can get it even cheaper if you go through quidco too!

If you liked the RAZR, you'll love this ultra-slim handset. Not only is it sleeker the Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 mobile phone starts where the company's stunning RAZR left off. Everything about the slim KRZR suggests luxury, from the feel of the casing to the precision manufacturing.

The one's you mentioned at Phones 4 U will almost certainly arrive fully unlocked and debranded: in the 2 years i have been buying from the Phones4U "Clearance" section i have never received anything other than an unlocked handset so this is your best bet. Worst case scanario, if it does arrive locked to O2, free returns to local store within 7 days but i'm sure it won't!

Welcome to HotUKDeals natalie s and Thanks for the post

Thanks for the extra info 1303 too!

All clearance phones are unlocked (quite safe to make this statement) @ Phones4U

Mmmm I bought a nokia 2652 from them at Christmas, sure that was locked to orange but could be wrong, not a problem to unlock but a bit trickier (costly) if the KRZR's are locked?

£5.00 quidco cashabck from both Phones4U or Carphone Warehouse

Technically, they are returns. I've had about 50% new and 50% refurbished. Most of the refurbs I can sell as new (I cover them with 12 months warranty) but you do get the occassional one that is well and truly used, no screen protector and has the odd screen scratch. Sometimes they have overstock, end of line or manufacture sell offs and these will be new units.

From their website,

"Clearance handsets have been returned by Customers under the Phones 4u 7 day Peace of Mind Guarantee. Clearance handsets have been rigorously tested, fully re-conditioned by our engineers and re-packaged as new. All our clearance handsets are supplied with a 12-month warranty direct from Phones 4u"

Having said that, most of the ones I buy are cheapies, so the difference between new and refurbs is not high. Having said that, this phone isn't a cheapy, so a tatty one will be of concern.

All clearance phones at Phones4U are not unlocked and debranded. If it is a genaral sell off of old stock they will be unlocked. However if they're doing a promo with an airtime provider they will be locked. I bought about a dozen 2652s on Orange late last year and they were all locked.

Whether a phone is locked or not will come down to any subsidy by an airtime provider. Phones4U don't care but the network does.
