Using the MBP160The Motorola MBP160 Digital Audio Monitor uses DECT interference free technology that offers a strong wireless connection, which means better range and less chance of missing something important.

The high sensitivity microphone will reassure you that you hear every clear sound coming from your child’s room, so you can be there when your little one needs you. You can adjust the volume of the sound to best suit your surroundings, so you can keep up with your little one.

  • Position baby unit next to crib to monitor your baby.
  • Place baby unit in your child's playroom to ensure they are safe.

Take your monitor with you around your home. The long range of up to 300 metres means that you are able to take your parent unit around your home without any audio distortion. There is a sound activated LED alert on the parent unit, so you are able to visually see the loudness of any sound emitting from your baby’s room.

The belt clip on the parent unit lets you move around your home with ease. The out of range alert lets you stay connected with your little one as the alarm sound will give you a warning, even if you have large home.

EfficiencyThe MBP160 has an integrated eco-mode so you never use too much power when plugged in to the mains. The low battery indicator lets you know whenever the parent unit is running out of power, so you can put it back on charge thanks to the rechargeable battery and continue using your monitor.

The parent unit has a standby power of up to 14 hours, giving you a more flexible pattern on your usage.

Motorola Helpline Number

They recommend that the unit is charged for 15 hours prior to first use. Should you encounter any problems with your Motorola baby monitor please call our helpline on 0845 5570890 (UK only)/08187 62092 (ROI)

Note: Once the Parent Unit battery is fully charged it will operate for more than 8 hours on battery only, but if the battery has been drained completely, it can take a while for it to work again when the mains power is connected to charge the battery.

If you want to permanently spam a radio channel for 3KM with baby crying, then yes.

Also, while you can set some radios to voice activated, while they are transmitting it wont receive if you try and talk back.

Unless you have taught your baby to use Push-To-Cry.

Thats easy just set your baby to always-on mode, sync them with your amazon alexa and each time they cry alexa will just keep repeating that they dont understand their request, same thing as being a parent right?

I wouldn't believe the range, it works fine in the room below where the baby is sleeping. If we go in the garden it looses signal

Better to get a xiaomi 2 way camera with microphone so you can get a video monitor instead of audio for the same price

I have got this very monitor for my son and used it from when he went in his own room to the current day being the age of 15 months nearly. Its certainly not a flash baby monitor (and you can't speak in to it like dearer ones) but it does the job well. I have no experience of others but this is more than adequate for my needs and if I was to have another child we will continue with this one until it fails.

We have one of these and use an IP camera for the visuals. The first one broke after 3 months and amazon took it back and sent another out. Great service from amazon. The replacement has lasted 10 months now. The odd time in those 10 months it has stopped working but turn off and back on then its fine. Cant comment on range as we don't go off miles away leaving the baby, but works fine in a 3 storey house.
