In case anyone does decide to purchase this, or any other wireless baby monitor or IP Cam...

"The radiation exposure from a wi-fi router at 5 meters' distance, a cordless DECT phone base unit at 3 meters' distance, or digital baby monitor at less than 1 meter are all experienced at roughly the same level as a mobile phone mast only 150 meters away."

Are you saying WiFi is dangerous to a baby or are you saying it's safe?

Just read the article......so having one of these is dangerous "potentially" but you post a deal for it along with an article saying not to buy it?!

I have an ip cam monitoring my baby which probably about a metre away. I don't think there is any proof WiFi etc does any harm. For every study saying it does there's another saying it's fine.

Exactly one for, one against. On our IP camera monitoring little un we had it running off a light timer to reduce excessive use

could one not buy this and use it as a cheap camera for seeing who is knocking on the door ?

Cheers OP cheap cheap

Yeah, apparently not good, although no definitive study has proved it yet. I was about to buy an IP Cam myself when I started reading about the potential effects of infrared light being beamed on to the baby all night. Although they can't see it, its still there, which then lead me on the potential issues of radiation from wireless devices.
I personally have decided not to buy one and stick with an old fashioned walkie-talkie style one.

It has got me thinking, the IP cam I have can be wired instead of wireless so I may switch it to that and just use a couple of homeplugs instead.
