Good deal but a high quality security camera you can link to your phone …Good deal but a high quality security camera you can link to your phone seems to the way forward for our newborn.

I tried that route too but the camera I bought wouldn't notify me if the baby cried, only if it moved and didn't have the temperature data.

In the end I found that a dedicated baby monitor unit was just a bit more convenient. It's like being able replace your TV remote with an app, handy but most of the time it's easier to have a dedicated remote control.

Voted hot for price but reviews on Amazon (at full price) are not so good.

I have to agree with this, I actually have this monitor, and did buy another one that links to the phone but found the same problems! Only downside about this one is that the battery does get a bit rubbish after a while..
Good monitor, but battery is not great. Been using it for 6 months, and the battery barely lasts a day now
Ordered as a spare to take when visiting family. I'm sure it will do the job nicely. Thanks.
There’s a reason these Motorola monitors are so cheap!
Thanks @reindeer333 ...perfect hour to spend it in Tesco:))))
