not new and sealed but a decent saving if you not fussed about it being open box
I WOULD SAY that the camera doesn't have an adjustable lens so would have to sit further down on the windscreen. That means if you don't want some crackheads nicking it you will have to remove each time. You'll also have the wire running to it.

Go for a Mobius action camera. Tiny, lens is ay the front edge so can be placed high up and out of sight.

Warranty? Doesn't look good if eBay sellers are selling refurbs or open box.
this or the Aukey that was on sale on Amazon?

Aukey is better designed, better mounting system, has WiFi, higher frame rate, better sensor, wider field of view etc etc.

However Viofo A119 and A119s are two of the best in the world for not much more money.

Anyone used any footage for a claim. Surely if your capturing images going forwards only, it will be your fault if you hit something?

If someone hits you from behind it's highly unlikely to be your fault and even less likely you get the blame even if it was your fault.

if going forward then either you're the type of person to admit fault or you're not.

My Mrs was hit from behind. Dash footage verified that she was stopped at lights and then was jolted with the force from. Behind. Colleague too had one verify his story that even though his front went into someone on roundabout the can verified that the other car swerved into him by cutting up too close

I got side swiped by a lorry that crossed the centre white line. Driver denied it, but his insurance company admitted liability within an hour of being sent the footage. Camera paid for itself and then some.

I want a dash cam mostly to protect my car while it's parked.
I've just had some idiots scratch the hell of of my bonnet and side wing.
Anyone suggest a good all round dash cam please as I believe this only covers the front?
Unfortunately I know nothing about these.

Wow. That's sold me into a dash cam now. I don't ride my motorcycle without a helmet. But yes will invest one for the car. Hopefully it don't clog up my cigarette lighter plug and can be hard wired.

I believe you can hard wire in any dash cam.

So glad i had one.
I used my dashcam footage when someone ran a red light causing me to hit them in the side doing about 25 mph. Because I had hit them, their insurance was holding me at fault until they saw the footage showing the light was green for me then they accepted full liability and paid out without any fuss. Mine is a nextcam and insurance approved. No idea if this one is.

Prove this without car cam footage then

It’s going to be hard to find a camera that will cover the whole car, the only thing you could do is get a 360 degree camera but doing this will be a pain as it will only see out of the windows and you might possibly have to put it in the centre on the car as seats will block the view from the front

You are looking at Thinkware F770 or F800 . They are quite expensive but they cover the front and rear and also F800 has the cloud option + parking mode so if someone hit your car you will get a notification.

Can't find one posted on here. There was an anker one posted for £55 the other day
Can't be hard wired in so that's me lost interest.

any dashcam can be hardwired... you just hard-wire the 12-5v usb adapter to any suitable 12v cable. - I took a wire off the back of my cigarette lighter socket, because I wanted the wire hidden and not hanging from the socket.

Transcend Drive Pro 200/220. I have the 200 ever since a woman believed she could turn right in a left only lane... - Which then she slid down the whole left side of my car. Luckily I had took pictures of her in work uniform when she tried to say she wasn't going to work and in fact she tried to say I actually went in to her lane. VW insurance (she had one of them £99pm VW UPs. Her insurance laughed at her explanation and accepted full responsibility).

The camera allows you to connect to it via your phone, download any recordings within 2 minutes. - The camera has a gyro so in the event of an actual accident it will go in to "emergency recording" mode. Or if the car is hit. This will protect the recorded video and will not overwrite it.

The camera does have continuous recording too. No need to delete the oldest recording, it will keep recording on loop. The bigger the memory card the more you can record and go back and watch. 16GB holds around. 2 hours.

This is hard wired in my car is does 247 recording.
