does this compete with the lg g watch r

I have the lg g watch r they are very similar really and its mainly just issue of personal taste which design you prefer. For this price would jump at this. Good buy.
This is nothing compared to my Apple Watch!
Ordered... Cracking deal! I was going to order from Amazon but the deal got pulled.. glad i missed out on that one now!
Apple Watch for me!
Apple watch sounds like a great idea but you are looking at trebling this price at least! Does the apple watch offer that much more for iOS users? For android users I accept its a slam dunk decision

I should have mentioned for me i think I would rather get the LG Urbane if I was going to go for a nice android wear watch just for the more up to date chipset

On offer everywhere as the V2 is due soon.
Still a great find as this is one of the few with a heart rate monitor and looks like a traditional watch.
Beware battery life is poor, but has a cool charger.
Battery life is poor as stated in above post but the charger gives out 1.5% per min so a quick top up goes a long way.
Excellent watch.
Cheers!
Wanted and waited for v2 but not paying out £300 so ordered a steel v1 last night. Thanks op.

Would love to down vote apple watch comments as these have nothing to do with this deal!

Got one of these for my iPhone last week, pretty impressed with it so far, all in really bothered with is the looks, fitness tracking and notifications, and it does that very well. Got to bear in mind you'll need to use an android phone when you first get it to update the android wear software, works lovely after that
I have one of these, and they're great. This is a great deal. Don't be put off by the negatives of this watch, the battery life lasts longer than my nexus 5, noone notices the "flat tyre" at the bottom of the screen in use, and the SoC is perfectly quick enough. The new version DOES look lovely, but it won't add that much to the overall experience. I would probably be looking to upgrade if it had NFC (for android pay...if we ever get it.).

The only issue that you might not be aware of is the cracked back, if you google it you'll see it. Moto replace them without fuss, so it's not such an issue, but be aware that is one of the drawbacks.

How many times this price is the Apple Watch ?

Yes, and the applewatch pales into insignificance against my A.V. system.
My pal however is swift to remind me that his audi convertible puts my AV system to shame.

It's a funny old world.
360 second gen is out sooooooon
Owned one for nearly a year. It is a cool looking watch but as everyone has stated the battery life is poor (one day medium use). My biggest issue and why I sent it back, was that it has a fatal design flaw. The back of the watch where it attaches to the straps is composed of a brittle plastic and it started cracking after 6 months. I was very careful with the watch and only wore it in the office, nevertheless it broke.
Just pasted the code at checkout and it didnt work....Where it said voucher code
I get Please select an available voucher or enter a voucher code and try again.

I wanted one of these until I saw someone wearing one... it's too big - like a dinner plate on your arm.
Hope they release a smaller one.
The code no longer works but you can still use "SEP10" (no quotes ) to get 10% off. comes up to about £106 i think

Yea same here, £100 is a decent price for this, but the size and the fact that the back of the watch is prone to cracking has made me think twice. I think I will wait a few months, save up little bit more and buy the moto 360 2nd gen. Hopefully it will have a small price drop over Christmas.

Typical iPhone user, hasn't used something but proclaims Apple are better...

You're wrong btw.

They are but it isn't much smaller just thinner.
Thermite hot.
Moto 360 looks like a watch, but filled with features. Truly a smart watch.
Apple watch looks like an iPod nano but thicker, limited features and relies on an iPhone (which not everyone has)

You so should get an apple watch and only then you'll know exactly what I mean!!!
Cool!
Bought one last night. Shipped already. Thanks!
What do people actually use these for? Looks interesting.
Though I'm not really fussed enough to want notifications the second they happen over checking my phone every so often.

I've used one pal, even its owner admits that my GWatch R is more useful! And why would I get a watch that only works with iOS when I'm using Android phones!

Btw you obviously have had both seeing as you're so sure so go on then, what's better about the overpriced Apple Watch?

The main reason Im thinking of getting one is because of the sheer number of watch faces you can have on these.
im not interested in getting notifications or anything else they do as a smart watch if im honest. I would just rather check my phone every so often like you say.
