This is an insanely good deal for the 1st gen (Bear in mind this is 1ST GENERATION Moto 360), Heat!
1st gen is still a great watch. Use mine every day. You can squeeze about 2 days out of the battery if needed. Very handy for messages, emails, controlling music, recording fitness and saving reminders. And looks very nice with the metal band!
Brilliant watch. I wear mine every day. the cradle makes it even more user friendly and allows me to snooze my phone alarm. slightly bulky.
ordered 2 one for me and one for bro ● HEATTTTTTTT
damn the leather one was 79 quid......was about to get it and went out of stock snooze you lose.....
Good find ordered now to decide on the face.
missed out on leather one , ordered metal one tho, thanks op!
best looking smartwatch i've seen
Just so you're aware, this watch is pretty much unsupported now. No more software updates, hence the price. The processor on the watch is very dated too.

your comment is rubbish, you are hit by the marketing propaganda. This watch is perfect for what it says it does. Who cares that it doesnt get upgrades anymore? Comes with a decent price tag and the current version of software works perfectly. The CPU is good enough for what the watch does. On top of this, it is being backed up by two years warranty so any issues once so over the watch goes back to JL.

Fair comment. But for a lot of people this watch will be fine for what they want to do.
But better to be informed of the issues you mention and then make a purchase or not based on the facts.

Ive had one for ages long before the 2nd edition came out and i dont know how you could get 2 days out of it ive never managed it even when new around 36 hours was the most you could hope for. Still a great watch i bought the leather strap version and have bought numerous metal straps and none have matched the case correctly even the expensive pebble one so now ive given up. I use my Sony SW3 as my everyday watch now but still like the 360 i even have 2 original LG G watches that i still wear one black and the other white and the black with a metal strap still looks nice and functions just fine so the guy who said this is unsupported i say so what if the G watches still work and they are one of the first why should this be any different, even the very latest watches only have the same processors and 512mb ram because massive powers not needed. I also have 2 martian notifiers and i have to say they are pretty good and you get 6 days battery life on one of those.

How is their comment rubbish?

They are making people aware that there won't be any more updates to the OS, so newer features won't be available to anyone who buys it - same goes for phones, older models won't get updates either

Not as far as I know.
£79.00 for the Moto 360 w/ leather band still at John Lewis - for those after a lower price / leather strap.

There's a few apps for watch faces, I pretty much just use Facer now. Easy to use and free watch faces every week

Second gen watch has the 'button' at the 2 o'clock position rather than 3 o' clock position of this one.

I use watchmaker
There's been a backlash from the big brand watches over look-alike faces, not sure if same for Facer, but quite a few faces were removed from the Google+ group

Yes, I have the same questions too, is this really compatible with ios 9? Thanks

The battery was terrible on launch, barely managing a day but mine will just about scrape through from morning til the next evening. I guess 36 hours might be a better figure, but that's still 2 day times worth of use.

Like you I also bought a metal strap to swap out the leather one but never really liked it so swapped back
I have and like this watch, have owned it for probably a year and a half now. I use facer with it to get a word clock so my watch face says "ten past six" in English for convenience. It's also great to be aware of incoming notifications without having to pull your phone out of your pocket, especially when travelling on foot or driving.

The LG G Watch Urbane LTE seems like the best successor but I want wireless charging
Great price but the problem is that watch will no longer receive updates (wont get android wear 2.0) which at somepoint means it also stop receiving app updates and many apps will no longer work due to the older OS. Still a good deal.
How compatible is it with iOS. I have the iPhone 6s

It works fine with IOS, obviously you do not get all features and apps, but general apps and notification work well.
How big is the face on this? Like would it look stupid on a womans wrist?

his comment isn't rubbish. it's not getting wear 2.0 and the processor is slow, it was slow when it came out! it also has a problem with the backplate cracking. I say this as some who has had one since it came out.

Having said all that for this price it's a great deal.

depends on the wrist size, but this has quite a large face. far bigger than the apple watch for example.
Didn't wake up wanting a smartwatch ....rude not to at that price!

I had the Rolex watch face, I think it's fair to say nobody was going to mistake the two

Mine worked fine with WhatsApp messaging via WiFi. The voice recognotion was rather good, but no punctuation (that I could find!), so sentence ending and commas were a problem. Otherwise very good.

The main problem (IMO) with the V1 watch was that the display dimmed after a few seconds requiring a button-press or flick of the wrist to activate. Presumably done to save battery power. I prefer the 'always visible' face of a conventional watch. I'm not sure if the V2 version is 'always on'.
Having had both, I'd get the Sony Smartwatch 3 for the same price. If anybody is interested in my comparison I'm happy to provide it!
