Moto 4g, Apple will match this spec with iphone 10
Fixed it for you
Depends on the IMEI. Some of them are harder than others. I was lucky and got one unlocked for less than £2.00 on eBay but there was a list of IMEI numbers on the sale that they could not unlock.
Nice, £5 lower than the last time it was posted: NEW, sealed Moto G 4G including £10 O2 top-up = £124.99 by lwcmobile @ eBay
Very possibly not, if it has the following IMEIs - from this eBay £1.69 unlock code sale:
Just root it with a Custom rom then
That's the 8GB 3G model, this is the 4G model with SD card expansion.
That will be the Moto G2 not the G 4G - no LTE/4G
Since the Moto G 4G is the updated version of the Moto G, do you really think they'll take a step backward with the G2 by not including 4G with it :)?
thanks no one would of understood what i said with out you
Yes it does work
I may consider it if Motorola don't upgrade - waiting to see.
(same with my 2012 Nexus 7)
oO
Just a minor point - it has the latest Andoid (Kitkat) but it is not pure stock Andoid - it also has Motorola stuff on it. The differences are small however.
comes with a usb lead
Well 4G/LTE is not mentioned in any of the rumours just a bigger screen and an 8MP camera.
I'm willing to bet one of my kidneys (good condition, only light use) that it'll have 4G. They'd be mad not to (especially with the rumoured price).
Why not save yourself another £100 and stick with the iPhone?
That's not true though, the camera clearly isn't as good.
In terms of cost to performance ratio, yes, it's much better value.
Plan was to sell my current iphone 5 to put towards the new one. You make a good point but I want a shiny new phone
What he said.
I have a Moto G, my wife an S3. In simple terms you get 4G with the Moto G 4G which you don't on a S3 and the Moto G is a much more stripped down version of Android without all the Samsung bloatware which you may like or not and I don't think the S3 will get much more in the way of update versions, where the Moto G probably will have a few more. Battery life on Moto G is MUCH better, but not a replaceable battery like the S3.
However the camera on the S3 is WAY better, not just in pixels, but in accommodating lower light pictures. As with many things, it depends on your priorities.
Thanks, no one would have understood what i had said without you
There, fixed it for you
Camera
Everything else
My Nexus 4 failed the week before my European tour so got the original Moto G as a stopgap. In fact I found the MotoG as good as the Nexus apart from:
1) screen size. Its OK when using it but my oh still has a Nexus and you notice it when you switch back
2) not quite stock kitkat - mine (Tesco) was missing sip VoIP. Using Sipdroid instead
3) camera. Its OK but I would like better.
So stick with the N4 while it works. But its a bargain if it stops. IMHO much better value than the N5 especially if it fails after just 18 months.
